Monthly Rentals in Hāwea Flat

Had a lovely stay. Secluded and private with friendly hosts on site. Scenery was absolutely beautiful and the night sky was something else. Very homely feel, the board and card games were great entertainment in front of a nice warm fire. Monopoly deal was a standout, particularly for my partner who nearly won every game. Even managed to catch 5 rainbow trout from the river which I was absolutely stoked with. We only stayed for one night, wish we had longer there to explore and relax.

We arrived in wanaka a little late and check in was very straightforward as Anna had sent the instructions prior:) The home was very clean and very homely to us with very neutral colours that soothes our mood. There were necessary amenities as listed! The location of the Airbnb was about 17 mins away from the town centre which was great! Peaceful and quiet. The night sky full of stars is something my husband and I would never forget!

Gorgeous little spot near Lake Hāwea and easy drive into Wānaka. Ashley was a fabulous host, very friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

I can’t sing the praises of the hut enough! If you get the chance to stay I would highly recommend it. Although the location is quite secluded, it was only a short drive into Wanaka and the peace and quiet while we were there was unparalleled. We enjoyed being there so much we actually cancelled a day’s activities so we could settle in and enjoy the accommodation for longer. There are views from almost every window and there were so many small touches throughout the hut that were a testament to how much love and care has gone into getting the hut set up. We will be back again to stay as soon as we can.
