There is a public boat launch within 1 min drive and dock at the house to tie boats off. 3 Fishing poles will be available for guest to use on the dock. The lake is excellent for Largemouth bass, Blue catfish, Freshwater drum, Channel catfish, Flathead catfish, Black crappie, White crappie and others. Fire pit in back yard along with grill to BBQ!

The Dome Home

Welcome to our home sweet dome. The Dome Home is a geodesic home that has been completely remodeled with mid century touches throughout and all the comforts and amenities of home. Enjoy a game of Foosball or ping pong in the den. Downstairs master suite with plush king bed. Upstairs has a queen in one bedroom with sitting area, and two full beds with play tent and other kids amenities. All bedrooms have TV's. Back patio where you can enjoy a meal and your morning coffee made at our coffee bar.

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
