Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! We had a lovely stay. The apartment is as advertised, clean, functional and super well located - ideal for a family stay (we were with two small children).

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

I wasn't aware this was part of a bed and breakfast- which was totally fine just wasn't aware that we were sharing the amenities. The house was beautiful- the property was beautiful! I was a little disappointed the access to the beach was no longer available. And the hot water was only enough for 1 shower for several hours and there were 4 of us . The host was very responsive. Because of the beauty of the property and the responsiveness I still give this stay 5 stars.

Hi The property was great for the 2 of us and as with us was ideal for motorcycles as it has underground secure parking with a lift opposite straight up to the apartment . 15-20 minute walk along the sea front into Cabourg . I would have liked normal beds but the fold down couches were also ok . I would stay there again .

Great time spent with my partner in this beautiful duplex. The view is just splendid, even better than in the photos. Very clean and secure apartment. Beach at the foot of the building and city center very easily accessible. A pleasure to park, we'll be back. Thank you

Very clean, well-equipped chalet, well placed (15 min walk to the sea by a small path) and quiet. We were able to take advantage of the sunny terrace to eat outside. Very responsive host and very clear access instructions

Everything was perfect and perfectly organized by Florence. Thank you for that :-) The communication was completely unproblematic. I would like to point out 2 small things, but they do not lead to a deduction of stars, because I felt incredibly comfortable and would have liked to stay longer. I have not found a place to store the clothes. I also thought it was a shame that I couldn't park in the residence parking lot. I understood that a private parking space is available. Thank you for the welcome gift!! I enjoyed the delicious cider in the evening on the wonderful terrace :-)

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

We had a very pleasant stay in this charming duplex, really well located. We only had to go out and walk a few steps before arriving on the beach. It was perfect for us and our children! We were just a little disappointed with the communication with the hosts before our stay. We sent two messages that remained unanswered, which is unfortunate. In any case, we recommend this accommodation!

Very good stay . Great from start to finish. Pleasant accommodation, clean and very functional, well located for visits and walks. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, well equipped, very comfortable beds and a perfect location! We walked to the Sword Beach Memorial Service early on the anniversary. Our visit to the local British Military Cemetery (again we walked) was very moving. Ideal for getting out and about and we visited numerous historical places; Caen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, Pégasus Bridge - it was great and so nice to go back to a comfortable home and share the evening. We ought to add that the beach, which is on the doorstep, is beautiful and sandy, only one of us was brave enough to go in the sea though 😁. We would recommend to anyone looking for a D-Day beaches trip.
