Holiday rentals with a patio in Herstal

Fantastically nice accommodation that even surpassed the description. We enjoyed ourselves very much and also like Aachen with surroundings. There is plenty to do for everyone!

Nice and spacious apartment, larger than in the photos. Durbuy is a short distance from the accommodation and grocery stores are opposite. Communication was pleasant and quick.

Very nice accommodation, bright and very clean. The owner was always responsive to requests. The neighborhood is quiet, green and pleasant. On the other hand, there was an error in the listing regarding the number of rooms and beds (three beds and not four). Finally, the sofa bed is not very comfortable. Apart from these points, our stay was very pleasant!

This apartment is very pleasant and in a very convenient location to the center plaza/market. The kitchen is very well equipped, except maybe for no toaster, that I found. The whole place has a modern and comfortable feel and the small outdoor space is definitely a big plus, as I thoroughly enjoy some fresh air to chill in. I was a little concerned about the bedroom being up front by the street, but there didn't seem to be much traffic, so it was not a problem for me. Parking is a bit challenging, but it's possible to park for free between 6pm and 9am, for a fee other times or for free all the time at a lot that's about a 10 minute walk away. Bathroom is also a nice space, I only wish I had had time to use the tub - guess I'll have to come back! :))

Beautiful, bright, large and very well-maintained apartment. We felt very comfortable. The view from the terrace is simply wonderful - nature and pure tranquility. Perfect as a starting point for hikes.

We enjoyed Birgitta's beautiful spacious apartment. Birgitta is a super friendly host. Responds quickly. The area is very nice for walking and cycling. It is also very easy to go to Aachen by bus.

We made a two-day stopover at Jörn's on the way home. The apartment is very well equipped, has more of a hotel character (coffee bar, bathrobes, shower gel). The location is quiet, we slept well. The "breakfast bar" mentioned in other reviews was enough for us, but we also had great weather, so we sat outside in the evening. The whirlpool was particularly cool. Jörn was a great, always available host. All in all, a great location for a short break.

A beautiful house, in a great quiet and scenic location. The kitchen was really well equipped and invited you to cook. Sebastiaan is a friendly host who was always available and communicated clearly. We slept fantastically and will come back in the sunshine.

The Airbnb has all the comforts, tidy, quiet cozy and clean. Bedding/towels/herbs/oil/ extensive kitchen inventory is provided. In Kerkrade there is not much to do but a good base for Valkenburg, Maastricht, Germany and beautiful walks.

Would highly recommend! Had a lovely stay - the home is beautiful and spacious and the garden is lovely, green and peaceful, in very nice surroundings. An excellent getaway and the hosts were very responsive and friendly :)

Our stay at Huize Koedoe was simply amazing. Very spacious house, beautiful sun terrace and everything you need! There was also a nice surprise ready when we arrived. Everything was very tidy and clean. Huize Koedoe is the perfect base from which to explore the region around Tongeren-Borgloon.

Aimee was very responsive to all of my questions and tried to help the best she could. Great host and recommend!

We had a really pleasant stay at this Apartment. Laurence is a really nice and friendly host. The Apartment is nice and cozy and exactly how she described it. We really enjoyed staying at the pool. Clemence’s place captures the best of what Airbnb can offer. The location is ideal—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, with hiking trails right outside the door. It’s also conveniently close to several villages for groceries and other essentials. The space itself is beautifully designed—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s not large, but it never feels cramped thanks to smart use of space, including ample counter space in both the kitchen and bathroom. Clemence is a fantastic host: responsive, friendly, and respectful of your privacy. He went above and beyond, bringing us fresh strawberries and local beer, and offering great recommendations in the area. Easily one of our favorite Airbnb stays—highly recommended.

The accommodation Anja offers is in a very quiet area. It's an apartment that's very clean, tidy and makes you feel right at home. It has the necessary kitchen utensils for breakfast, dinner, etc. and a Lidl 1.5 km from the house. When I return to the area, I will stay at Anja's house again, that's for sure.

Absolutely amazing stay!Beautiful, new and clean house with everything we needed.Kitchen and bathroom, all supplies are clean and tidy, and it's really comfortable to stay.The location is not far from the bus station, train station, and supermarket, about five to seven minutes on foot.The balcony is large, you can dine and rest outdoors, and enjoy the scenery.Host Norbert responded kindly and quickly, Christel doesn't speak English, but is very friendly and happy to help us.There is no washing machine in the house, you can ask Christel to help you wash (extra charge).I'm so happy to have a great time at Norbert's house, highly recommended👍👍👍 (and the price is very affordable! We had a comfortable stay at this Airbnb. The furniture was clean, in good condition, and sufficient for our needs. The house was well-equipped, with everything we needed readily available. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the private parking was a great convenience. The view from the property was lovely, and the heating worked perfectly, keeping us cozy. The sofa bed was good for sitting, but for sleeping, it wasn’t very comfortable—it made noise and wasn’t in the best shape. The bedroom, however, was comfortable and well-suited for a good night’s sleep. Overall, it’s a nice place with plenty of positive aspects.

I felt very comfortable with Andreas: the apartment was super equipped, beautifully decorated and located in a nice area right next to a park. You could reach the city center both by bus and on foot, so you were well connected. Above all, the communication with Andreas was very nice, he was quickly accessible, very helpful and kindly also very flexible regarding the length of stay, so I could even stay a few days longer. Overall it was a nice place to stay for my time in Aachen!
