The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

Absolutely lovely place! The house is spacious and comfortable, perfect for family groups and such a lovely setting right on the Breede. The pool table, table tennis, lovey big lawn, hot tub etc. meant there was plenty to do at the house. Philip was very helpful too- loved all the tips and useful information about the area. I recently spent a few unforgettable days fishing with my family — and it was absolutely amazing! We stayed in a cozy, spacious house that turned out to be perfect for our getaway: clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Each morning started with fresh air, birds singing, and the peaceful sounds of nature. The fishing was great — the fish were biting, and the kids were especially thrilled when they caught their first fish! In the evenings, we gathered around the fire, enjoying toasted snacks, heartfelt conversations, and lots of laughter. These were truly warm, meaningful days that I’d love to relive. Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere and the chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle — moments like these stay in your memory forever.

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

Wow, what a place - extremely peaceful, extremely beautiful, perfect for seven of us. They even provided clean drinking water for all of us since the water from the taps wasn’t drinkable. The canoes were also a great bonus. Like others said before, the prepared hot tub was pretty hot when we got in but it was still fun, we just topped it up with some cold water from the hose if it got too hot. All in all, a really wonderful stay!

We had a lovely family weekend at Annelie’s spot. Centrally located, safe area. My children loved cycling in the quiet street. Would definitely visit again.

Very big house which was just right for our group of friends. The area is very picturesque and calm. House is well equipped with everythig needed. Very responsive, helpfull and friendly hosts who were very approachable and flexible with check-in / check-out times and also provided lots of pleasent compliments, such as some wines, pastry and fresh juice. The host gave us a sunset safari around the farm which was very exciting as we were able to see some wild animals. Highly recommended place and great hosts! Thanks for such an unforgettable long weekend!

One of the most amazing places. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough! The home itself was very substantial and had everything needed. It was situated in one of the most beautiful places with a dam and lovely wildlife. A lovely place for a break away. Would definitely go back again!

Our second time staying in the cabins. Feel very fortunate to visit this beautiful and special place. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need to have a relaxing time away from home. Hope to visit again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Aviary Hills! The host, Cecilia, was quite proactive and responsive. A beautiful and peaceful location with breathtaking views and sounds of nature. Everything was prestine! We can highly recommend this stay!!

It is a beautiful home in a stunning location. Everything was comfortable and as advertised. The last stretch of road (1km) is difficult to navigate in the dark, which was when we arrived. Other than that, it was the best holiday we have had in a long time. So relaxing. Many thanks Margot.
