Bronze Grove Farm - River House

At Bronze Grove Farm and Chalets we encourage you to wonder around and absorb the natural earthy pleasures of farm life. The farm is situated at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain Range and incorporates part of the famous Tradouw Pass and is 3 kms from the quaint little village of Barrydale. We are a working farm concentrating on olives. We hand harvest and produce extra virgin cold pressed olive oil and bottled olives. We have introduced zebra and various antelope that roam freely.

Aardvark Bioreserve - Die Opstal (The Farmhouse)

Die Opstal is a comfortable and stylish of-the-grid farm house, the largest of our cottages/houses. Easily sleeping 8 people, this quirky but classic house offers a large fully equipped kitchen with a pizza oven, two in-door fireplaces, a wood fired hot tub on one of two large patios and your own boma/lapa. You also have your own tv room and then of course a bicycle shed. The house is very private and your are close to the Miertjies Kraal Dam, and our hiking and MTB trails.

Situated on the water's edge of the Breede River Lodge harbor, Suite 105 is front row to the hub of activity during the summer months. Fishermen, kiteboarders, and outdoor enthusiasts visit this area for a varity of activities. In the winter, this is a peaceful retreat ideal for whale watching, walking, and enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. Spasie on Breede restaurant and bar is a short walk from the Suite and offers an excellent menu and stunning sunset river views.

"ROOIKOP" A HOUSE ON THE BREEDE RIVER ESTUARY

A house on the estuary of a VERY BIG river ie - Lower Breede river - about 15km from the sea, the house is set back about about 15m from the river . It is completely off the grid , ie only solar power and rainwater. It might not suit city dwellers who need every gadget and convenience but its heaven for the hardier ones Please bring bedding and towels . The are pillows and various duvet inners but we don't have a washing machine so we cannot supply linen

Stone Cottage is a beautifully appointed original stone cottage situated on Long Thin Farm. Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Fireplace and braai patio.

Waterryk is Perfect for nature lovers, spring water flows throughout the house, cows in the pastures and roosters to wake you up. With all the fresh air, you will struggle to find a better nights sleep. Wood is supplied for all the braai areas. Waterryk is Perfect for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). Situated a short 6km from town, it is an easy ride to the beach, or into town, but far enough to still feel relaxed.

Our single floor house is on the river side, walking distance from the sea, close to the city center and art and culture. Our place is good for couples and families with kids. Very good fishing spot for cob, shad and grunter. Very good Mountain biking routes around.
