Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Hexham

Peter was very helpful, and the check-in process was easy. We arrived early, and when I mentioned this to Peter, he told me that I could check in right away if the cleaner had finished. That really made my day. The place was lovely, cozy, and quiet; it felt like home. Thank you once again for all your help. We look forward to visiting you again soon.

This is an amazing place, Robert has decorated it very colourfully, and the care he has taken in kitting out the little kitchen is impressive. It was a very comfortable stay and a great location for walking the middle section of Hadrians Wall.

Was a very clean and tidy flat just like the photos. Ben was really helpful sending a video ahead of our stay to let us know how to use the coffee machine and more detail about the facilities. It was a really hot heatwave whilst we were there but Ben had provided Dyson fans in both the main room and bedroom which helped a lot and also had advised how best to keep the flat cool. Beautiful flowers on the counter too when we arrived was a lovely touch 🫶

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Really nice place in the perfect location for where I wanted to stay. The place was really nice and homely and had everything we needed and more. Very child friendly. Mark was very responsive and helpful. I’d love to stay again.

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to coming back!

We loved staying at Chris’s place in the lovely village of Gainford. The apartment was light, spacious, clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed for our four day stay. It was beautifully renovated and furnished and was above the small local store if there was anything we forgot at the supermarket in Barnard Castle. Chris was a proactive and generous host & we’d be happy to recommend The Nook to other travellers.

Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

we had a great couple of nights stay, daughter suffers with anxiety and austim, so it was nice and peaceful. time for me to just relax. weather was great so big bonus as got to sit in garden and chill

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Map Shop a property full of character and every need catered for. It was perfect as our final stay whilst walking the Cumbria Way. Just lovely, thank you.

Matthew is a great host. Fixtures, fittings and furnishings are of very good quality. We really enjoyed staying at the Hideaway. It was warm, comfortable and peaceful. We would highly recommend staying there. Thank you.

Lovely place and was clean+smelt nice upon entering, hosts were fast at replying and attended to all questions asked. The stairs are a little crazy and definitely different but made staying there funnier - only thing I would say that was a negative about the whole thing was the wobbly stair railing but besides from that a nice quiet area with a cosy hot tub. Thanks guys!

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

Very pleased with this stay and Anna the host. Flexible check in and proactive communication. Wonderfully quiet cottage in a peaceful location. We will definitely be staying here again.

Gleamingly clean, beautifully cared for & decorated & well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We only stayed for a 1 night stop over but was very convenient.

We stayed for business & vacation. Modern light spacey appartement with a nice balcony, quiet neigbourhood. Metro station at walking distance. Check-in and out was easy, same as the communication with James and Mark. We can recommend it!

Lovely little bolthole, incredible location in the heart of the village. You’re a minute walk away from most of the restaurants, pubs and sights. Getting checked in was super easy and the place was spotless, thank you Nia!

Linda's apartment was a great place to stay to visit Alnwick and the surrounding area. it was close to shops and restaurants but also very quiet. The apartment was beautiful my clean and well equipped and also extremely comfortable. communication was great and access to the apartment was easy. We would recommend this property for a visit to Alnwick and surrounding areas.

The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

Very comfortable, everything you could need was provided. Helpful information in folder within the apartment which answered all the questions about the apartment and the area. Parking easy with clear instructions provided. Amazing view of castle and great to watch the lighting of the beacon in remembrance of VE Day from window. All in all, a great apartment in a great location with seamless communication with owners. Thank you.

Ideal position for exploring the Northumberland coastline and surrounding area. Alnwick is a pretty town and John's flat is within easy walking distance. We loved our stay, thank you

What a lovely flat in sleepy Sedbergh! Great location and very peaceful. The flat is so comfortable with the softest carpets too. Lots of extra towels and bedding available. A very well equipped kitchen and a lovely feeling of calm as soon as we stepped inside. Everything was really well thought out and very clean. We stayed for two nights but will definitely stay again and for longer next time. Amy very kindly extended our check out time and always responded to questions quickly. I highly recommend visiting Sedbergh and staying in this stunning little flat!

This was by far the best place I stayed while travelling in the UK for 6 weeks. Fiona greeted me on arrival and showed me how everything worked. She also made some great suggestions for local walks and cafes. The apartment is spacious, with modern decor and spotlessly clean. The host has provided everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s located within a few minutes of the shops and within walking distance to the buses and trains. Although it’s close to everything, it’s tucked away down a laneway so it’s extremely quiet and private. I highly recommend this apartment.
