Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Heysham

It was our first time staying in Lancaster. We were attending a family wedding and much prefer an Airbnb than booking into a hotel. The hosts were very responsive to any query we had and ensured we had everything we needed. The house had everything we needed and there was plenty of towels and bedding provided for our stay. The location of the house was perfect for what we needed. It is a very short walk to the train station which was handy for us as we had to pickup our son and his fiancé from there. It is also perfectly situation for the short walk into the town. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This was a beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more😊 Location was good just a 10 min walk into town Mason pub was really nice food and staff were great 😊 Would definitely return was a lovely stay 🥰

Really worth it! Mark & Rachel were great hosts you took the time to share and walk me through the full details of the property and its surrounding area. They were kind and responsive making me and my family feel right at home. The property is a nice stroll away from the sea front and conveniently across a Sainsbury’s for any needs during the stay. I hope to stay there again when I’m next in Lancaster as all my needs were met. Thank you Mark & Rachel for a pleasant stay.

A well loved and super clean cottage in a surprisingly quiet part of Arnside. The garden is a little gem after a long day out in good weather. Thoroughly recommend and friends say I’m pretty fussy.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

It was perfect. I was worried about being so close to the local pub but I had nothing to worry. You couldn’t hear anything. It was so peaceful. I would totally recommend a stay at Rachael’s accommodation.

3rd time staying at this lovely Georgian ground floor apartment with Tina being a fantastic accommodating host. Absolutely in the centre of Clitheroe, but yet so quiet & tranquil with reliable, secure parking. The accommodation was great for us as all on one level with 2 big bedrooms, each having separate shower room, one en-suite. It is so well equipped and you feel very at home when staying here. From this accommodation you have such easy access to so many lovely places to visit for eating, drinking, local towns, National Trust halls, breweries, famous sausage shop, great pie shops, trough of bowland, pendle hill & many more lovely places .….we will be returning.

A beautiful place to stay- I wish my kitchen at home was as stylish! Rachel is a great host, very friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend this place.

Ray and Sue were extremely responsive throughout, they met us and showed us around the apartment. They were very friendly and advised if we needed anything else we could reach out to them. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, loads if room, and we had very comfy beds. We had every item required in the kitchen, plus juice, milk and chocolate biscuits in the fridge which was a lovely gesture, plus tea, coffee, and sugar. Everything was to hand. We had a great stay, I would definitely recommend this accommodation, and our hosts Ray and Sue were brilliant. Thank you so much. X

Enjoyed our stay at Kate's place for a second visit. Has all the amenities we needed and we can feel very relaxed there. Kate was very helpful with our booking. She dealt very promptly with one minor maintenance issue. She's a thoughtful host and there were fresh flowers, milk and biscuits to welcome us. We enjoyed chatting to Kate. What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

This home is delightful for anyone who needs a short break in beautiful peaceful country side. It has everything required, however a car is helpful. The shop at the petrol station opposite the property opens all the time for essentials. The home was spotless and designed to give you as much space as possible.

Beautiful place in the countryside! Super clean, has everything you might need… and more (like an homemade cake we found in the kitchen waiting for us ❤️) The hosts are super friendly, responsive and helpful, the location is superb if you like quiet and off-the-beaten-track places!

Just a brief stay on our way home south from Scotland. Been to the lakes but haven’t visited Bowness-On-Windermere before. Town is very commercialised but take the ferry across the lake and it is completely different. Hardly a soul to be seen. Apartment is spacious and very quiet. EV charging on site which was a plus for us. Marta is excellent on communication and response.

Beautiful property, excellent location. Would love to have stayed longer. Would have preferred the garden to be more private and secure, but this didnt spoil our stay and we had a lovely time . Kitchen was well equipped and the property was bigger than it appeared on the photos!

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

With a 15 minute drive into Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland on the doorstep. The Barn was set in an ideal location. It was what my wife and I needed. Some quiet time and fabulous walks in the countryside.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning location, spotless property, and an unforgettable weekend. We stayed at Turner House for my stag weekend and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The house was immaculate on arrival—clean, spacious, and really well looked after. Every guest made good use of the amazing amenities: the games room was a hit, the hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding, and the outdoor areas gave us space to chill out or explore. The views over the River Lune were stunning from almost every room, and the peaceful setting made the whole weekend feel like a proper escape. Plenty of parking, great layout, and loads of thoughtful touches. Would 100% return—brilliant for groups who want comfort, a bit of luxury, and somewhere memorable.
