Our 2024/25 extensively and energetically renovated bungalow is located on a 1000 m² sunny clearing in the forest and holiday area of Uelsen, surrounded by birches, pines and oaks. Behind the house you have a wonderful view over meadows and pastures. Especially in the morning, when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit with a coffee in the conservatory – an unforgettable moment! Here you can enjoy heavenly peace in a natural environment.

The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. In the beautiful Twente landscape in the middle of the Springendal nature reserve, a stone's throw from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum, lies the Hoeve Springendal estate. You have one of the ten apartments that is fully, attractively and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments is furnished for four people. In our old granary, you can have a nice breakfast or lunch, we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a local special beer.

The owls tower

The owls tower staat aan de bosrand en is een heel spannend ontwerp met een prachtig uitzicht over het Achterhoekse landschap. De drie verdiepingen tellende toren staat half in het bos waardoor je, als je boven bent, tussen de boomtoppen zit. De vogels zitten praktisch binnen (insecten sowieso ;). Wij willen je uiteraard graag informeren wanneer je bijvoorbeeld bang bent voor insecten hoeveel er zijn of wat je kunt verwachten. Maar vergelijk het met camperen.

You have access to a fully furnished house with 2 terraces and garden. There is parking and the possibility to store and charge bicycles. Nearby are many cycling and hiking trails. In the house there are regional books, thrillers and games that you can use.
