DISTORTION 9, which exhibits outsider art, is a gallery hotel that opened in July 2020. < This is the reservation page for the second floor only. > You will have private access to the open-air bath on the 2nd floor balcony. There is also a shower room indoors. There is no sauna on the 2nd floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people, but if you want to book 2 floors (1st and 2nd floors) privately, it can accommodate up to 8 people. Please contact us before booking if you'd like to rent both floors. The works exhibited in the gallery are outsider art created daily at Yamana Workshop, an art center and welfare facility in Koga City, Shiga Prefecture. In addition to the works exhibited in the hall, original package art can also be purchased at the vending machine in front of the hotel. There is a projector in the room, and you can watch Amazon Prime movies on a large screen. It is also probably the only room in Osaka Namba with an open-air bath. Please wear a swimsuit and close the curtains to slowly enjoy the resort mood.

The small roof blends in with the neighborhood's appearance, while the metal facade creates a vivid contrast with its surroundings. Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo
