House holiday rentals in High Rock Lake

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

The house and amenities were beautiful, far exceeded the pictures. Ryan was very responsive and quick when we were locked out of the house. Unfortunately, it did rain so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool this time. However, when we return, will likely book again! Thanks!

Great stay, the house was especially flexible for our 4 small children. There were some good toys for the babies and means of childproofing. Everything was very well kept up and clean. Nice neighborhood, easy access to playground and pool, and relatively close to everything we were in town for(CMS and Discovery Place) My only problem was our bed was on the firm and warm side. Otherwise this is a solid recommend. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at this campground! The location is absolutely beautiful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s such a peaceful spot, and we loved being so close to the NC Zoo – a perfect place to visit! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away in nature but still be near a fun, family-friendly attraction. Will definitely stay here again!

This is our third time staying in Chris’ place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My kids loved being able to walk to the pool and the house is spacious enough for our big family. We look forward to returning again later this year. We enjoyed the back deck and barbecuing as well! Chris and Dottie have a beautiful house and really make sure their guests feel at home and keep things simple.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular! We loved the pool and the cleanliness of the property. It was also very convenient that every room had a tv. If the opportunity arises in the future, we would love to book another stay with Rodolfo & family :)

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

We absolutely loved this place! We didn’t do much as we were in town to visit family, but are planning on coming back in the summer. The beds were all very comfortable and there was so much room!

My family and I had an awesome time at their lovely lake house. The galley kitchen was cute, great for buffet style eating. The house was bright and airy, the sunsets were amazing. There’s plenty of yard in the front and back for yard games. There’s boat access right around the corner, walking distance. Would definitely recommend their vacation home.

Second time staying here, and I will stay here anytime I am in Salisbury..Very clean and peaceful. The host is probably the most thoughtful I’ve stayed with . If you have a chance to stay , it’s a great choice. David

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown and would totally recommend this place to other family’s that enjoy sitting by the lake and enjoying the amazing views. The host was an amazing person that was very responsive and understanding to my questions. I would surely be back to visit again!

We loved our brief stay at the Mini Star Cabin. It was absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and the country side was lovely and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive to questions and quite helpful. I would recommend this place as a quiet couples retreat. Unfortunately we had to bring our two kids, lol. They slept fine in the living room but the shades didn’t make it very dark in the living room so the gremlins stayed up late and got up early. Would definitely love to come back and enjoy without the munckins!

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

Jim, was very attentive and readily available via phone and text. The house is very cozy and well equipped. Location was very easy to find and was in a good neighborhood. Access to nearby by Lexington was straightforward. Fishing from the pier was very enjoyable and the view of the lake from the screened-in porch was relaxing.

This home EXCEEDED our expectations!! The location is secluded but close to everything! Every turn in the house there is something new and cool to look at! A crowd favorite was the “party bathroom.” We would 100% stay here again!

Our stay was extraordinary. The house was full of amenities, very comfortable and was exactly as described. The weather reduced our time in the yard but there was so much to do in the house (e.g. pool table & games) we did not miss a beat. I am a big fan of good shower pressure and the bathrooms felt like spas. The Internet was strong and the A/C allowed us to sleep soundly in the very comfortable beds. The hosts were responsive to our requests and even reached out to check on us.

Spent the weekend at Kirsten’s place, and it was just what my family and I needed—peaceful, relaxing, and overall a great time. We spent time soaking in the views, enjoying slow mornings with coffee, and making the most of all the amenities the place had to offer. Definitely planning to go back.

This little home is a gem! It’s a perfect getaway secluded in the beautiful NC wilderness. The outdoor area is great to drink coffee and listen to the birds or build a fire at night, the studio had everything we needed and was very cute. The area is decorated to be so whimsical and fun, and when you meet Cate it all makes sense! Cate is the most wonderful host in all ways imaginable. She was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed and was very generous. Cate’s care and intention for her sanctuary shines through her actions and her delicious food. We came to visit family and stay in a secluded air bnb, but we left with an experience, fellowship and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Cate!

Aaron’s Farm house was a place where we felt at peace and well rested. enjoyed its Beautifully decorated home which had a farm house feel to it. Our little girl was excited to see the donkeys and just be outside enjoying the fresh air. We will definitely consider coming back to the Farm house. Thanks.

This house is right on the water, very lovely setting and decor throughout. We very much enjoyed our time here! Keep in mind that the queen bedroom is connected to the bedroom with the two bunkbeds without a door separating them. Overall a great stay!

We stayed one night at Daniel’s lovely cottage on our way to another destination. Traveling with two kids and two dogs, it was exactly what we needed: clean and comfortable with lots of space outside to explore! We especially loved the sweet horses. Daniel was a great host and even left us some chilled local wine on arrival.

Kathy’s place was in such a peaceful location. Great views from the back porch. Kathy was great with accommodating us for an extra day. The steps to the 2nd floor are very narrow. But for younger people, they are ok. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my elderly folks. The place was very comfortable. We spent most of the time out and about. But the times we were at the Airbnb, we hung out outside. The amount of shade outside was perfect. Very comfortable home.
