We had an amazing stay in the van! We have been interested in van life for a long time and this was a great trial run. The van is very simple but has everything you need to be comfortable. We camped for free at multiple pull off spots and had beautiful views and privacy each time. You have the option to pay to camp with showers and bathrooms but we chose to find free spots. They provide necessities for cooking your own meals as well as chairs and a table. They were also very helpful in recommending places to visit during our stay. I can’t recommend enough!

We loved staying here! It was such a beautiful place and a great way to appreciate the fjords. The house had everything we needed. It was well stocked with an impressive library. I could recommend without reservations.

This freshly remodeled, clean home with stunning views in Balestrand is the perfect quiet getaway for groups or families. It’s as gorgeous as the photos, easily walkable from the convenient ferry, so no car required. Everything (groceries, small shops, hiking trails) are all within a 5-minute walk. The home is comfortable, with good beds, plus new heating, windows, and kitchen & bath. One bedroom on the entry floor & an accessible bathroom, but there are six steps down to the front door, so it does require mobility. For larger groups, the single bathroom is only a slight impediment to enjoying the home. On our four-night visit, we went to the local cidery for tour with lunch pairing, rented kayaks, hiked the steep forested trails, and enjoyed the area’s history. The local host is extremely responsive, even on weekends, so please ask for what you need since the house is stocked but basic (we requested extra pillows, top sheets, etc.). It was an ideal choice for our group of 7 adults.

Our stay at Age was completely successful. The apartment really has everything you need to relax and enjoy the holiday. The kitchen was top furnished. Best was the view of the Sognefjord, different at any time of day or night, like cinema! We slept wonderfully. We arrived by bus and ferry, which was easily doable. We recommend the apartment in every way
