Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Energy-neutral cozy vacation home

Wooden cottage, self-built in 2020. Mostly with recycled material. There are no less than 20 solar panels on the cottage! The beams and the ridge have remained nicely in sight, which gives a spatial effect. A stable window from the farm where Karin was born has been incorporated into the ridge. The old yellow clinkers from that farm form the terrace, along with the tiles from the basement. As a surprise, husband made a heart in the terrace for Karin! All in all a nice place to stay
