If you want to go back to basic, have an open mind and don't need perfection, then relax and enjoy our self-made garden house! We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The (20 square m.) little house is simple, but under the care of a big Douglas Pine tree and with enough basic elements in kitchen, house and own private garden you can feel relaxed safe and happy! 26 km from Amsterdam 24 km Utrecht 5,6 km Hilversum 200m from nature!

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Gelegen op een kleinschalig particulier parkje waar wij ook nog een ander vakantiehuisje verhuren, genaamd; Familie Buitenhuys. Vanuit de woning kijk je uit over de velden en dijk aan het Markermeer: ​​Nederland in zijn puurste vorm! De woning is gericht op comfort (er is vloerverwarming) maar met leuke, eigenzinnige details en een speelse indeling. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.

Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).
