Bicycles available! There are also beautiful ATB routes nearby that you can try out. You can do shopping in the village itself. If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Summer at the Ruskehoeve!

The Ruskehoeve is an old forest farm in the atmosphere of the past. There are 3 bedrooms. Layout; hall, shower, toilet, kitchen, loft with staircase entrance to cozy sleeping loft where there are two single beds and a toilet. At the rear there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160/200). The living room is heated with a Tigchel stove. Adjacent to the living room is the downstairs bedroom with double bed (140/200). Behind and in front of the house, you can sit outside.

Relax in detached, cozy cottage.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove is located in a piece of yard between the old port of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are located around the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local baker for fresh sandwiches. A hike started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bikes you can explore the wooded, rural surroundings via all kinds of routes. A place to relax!

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Tucked away in the green is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy on the edge of the forest and with a nice view. In the log cabin you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and hob, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

Tiny house in private forest

Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers. Geniet in de zomer van je ruime prive tuin met zitgedeelte, een veranda en een hangmat tussen de bomen. In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

This comfortable holiday home is right on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/entrance gate or rules. The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities like Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

In Southeastern Friesland we invite you to stay in our new guesthouse. Many attractions like the UNESCo World-Herritage Site "Koloniën van Weldadigheid" and the national park "Drenths-Fries wold") are only minutes away. Larger places like Gorredijk and sports-capital of Friesland Heerenveen are within easy reach. Enjoy the views from the guesthouse and spot the (roe)deer and other wildlife our region has to offer!

Trekkershut

A cozy cabin to relax and unwind. Or to stay overnight during a bike ride through the scenery of South East Friesland. The cabin gives space to two adults and possibly two children. Kitchen and sanitary facilities are not available in the cabin, but you use the sanitary facilities on our Natuurkampeerterrein. The cabin can be booked for up to 4 nights.
