Cabin holiday rentals in Hoosier National Forest

She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

Wonderful stay, everything was great. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, porch swing, fire pit, and various other thoughtful touches and amenities. Host was friendly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Would stay again for sure.

My 2 sisters, my niece, and I stayed here for a random girls weekend! There was plenty of room for 4 adult women and the screened in hot tub was so awesome. We ended up not doing a lot of the activities because we didn’t make reservations for kayaks or boats in advance and we were only there 2 days. Overall we had an excellent time and I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!

This place is great if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. It’s peaceful and spacious with a nice hangout area in the barn. Never have to leave if you don’t want to, or go check out the local spots like winery, brewery, food, etc. Justin and Damien’s responsiveness to questions/issues was very fast and professional. Would stay here again anytime!

My girlfriend and I wanted to do a brief getaway for the weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Santa Claus and Ferdinand, Indiana both offered attractions that interested us (the Abbey, theme park, winery, brewery, Lincoln's boyhood home), combined with a beautiful countryside. We had a phenomenal time staying at Karen's place! The area was lovely, and the cabin had everything we needed. We especially appreciated all the amenities: the grill, the hot tub, and the coffee. She was extremely kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Our only regret was not staying longer to take advantage of the fire pit! When we return, we will try to book the same cabin; it was nearly the same price as nearby hotels, but far more peaceful and enjoyable. Thank you!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cabin for 2 nights, it was very peaceful and the host gave very clear instructions on exactly how to get there. Host was very accommodating and helpful. We loved this cabin it was a nice getaway from a busy city and we would definitely stay here again.

Billie was a great host! When we had trouble finding the place, she answered the phone immediately and guided us through. When I called her shortly after about the tricky AC, she offered to take time out of what she was doing to set it from her phone. Everything was clean, cozy, and the queen bed was so comfortable!

This cabin was clean and perfect, just as described in the listing! Had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Beds were comfortable. Nancy was responsive and very friendly. We will be back!

If you are looking for a private, wooded, get away, this is definitely the place for you. This home felt like a home away from home. The owners of this property, we're responsive and helpful. They even helped with finding amenities around to enjoy as visitors of French lick.

The property was very nice and the deck enjoyable. The house was not only comfortable but well furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the comfortable deck as well as skipping rocks on the creek at the back of the property. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

What great place to stay! Centrally located to so many cool destinations in Southern Indiana. The home is clean, beds are comfortable, and the setting is private. Kitchen fully equipped. Enjoyed the hot tub and listening to a huge variety of birds. We would highly recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived in town a little early and we were very thankful that we were able to check in early. I would definitely recommend the property. We saw a lot of turkeys and one deer.

We had a great time! Super clean and very comfy. We absolutely loved the cabin. We saw a fox, out front, trotting down the road. We also deer and turkeys by the backyard pond. We will definitely book again!

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

He was wonderful when we spoke. explained everything in detail. it's such a quiet peaceful place. no fuss if you don't mind mind the off grid stay. the kids ran and played outside and we cooked on the grill and fire pit. there's a cave nearby we visited that was really cool and the kid's had fun. love that there is no TV or service for phones. I actually talked to my children instead of them on there electronics. we went fishing at the lake nearby and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. can't wait next time though just the hubby and I will stay for the alone time. The kids are already asking to come back! pro tip.... bring a radio for some music thats battery powered, and pack food in paper or plastic so it's easier to burn. I regret not staying longer.... Have fun and spend real family time together!

I can’t say anything but amazing things about our stay! The cabin is absolutely beautiful! There are trees surrounding the cabin and even a trail right in your backyard! The back patio was my favorite spot and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after boating at Patoka lake all day! The cabin was fully stocked! Much to my surprise as we are used to literally bringing everything with us! Our dogs loved the backyard and our older kids loved staying up in the loft area! We will be coming back to this cabin every year as long as we can!! This is definitely the place to stay!!!!
