My name is Christian. I am really excited about working with Airbnb. My background is very different from the tourist branch. I´ve mainly worked in construction before I started my first small company in 2008. It was a small webshop with electronics. In 2013 I expanded the webshop with 2 other webshops and I quickly needed more space, so I rented a warehouse. I then started looking for a house, where there was a barn or the like, where I could have room for all the electronics. In 2016 a friend told me about a place that was for sale. I never heard of this place, all though it was close to my home in Grindsted. It was a former school and I soon learned my wife actually attended this school for a few years. I gave it a chance and went for a look. I fell in love with the old buildings and surrounding nature a the very first sight of this school and shortly after I bought the place. Then I moved the electronics company to the school. But it had always been a hard business to make any money on because we were up against a lot of giants. The goods in the electronic world, was near to old before we got it on the shelves because it´s such a fast moving world. The costumes were not always very happy and everything was just getting more and more difficult and a daily hassle. We learned there was a half allowance to make small accommodation in the school, so we tried to do so with a few rooms. It went well and we got a lot of positive response from our guests and everything was just so much more positive than working with the electronics. So I decided to get rid of the electronics company and use the space for more guests rooms. It was the best decision in my life. To sell the electronics company was a huge weight off my shoulders and I never regretted that decision.

Now we have 11 large family rooms with each there school theme and lots of common areas in and outdoor, where children can play, while the parents can relax in the quiet surroundings without worrying about their children. We get so much positive feedback each day because we made a place, like no other and I feel so lucky to be a part of this and I hope to be able to continue this for many years.
