Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Hovden

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little squeezed 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it worked easily to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, and the response was quick and nice. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

Honestly one of the best airbnbs I’ve booked. Very cozy, well planned interior. The fireplace and sauna were a great add on. It’s a great airbnb if you’re planning for a cozy trip with close friends and family. We went as a group of 8 people and it was extremely comfortable for everyone. Marieke the host was also very accommodating and kind, always on stand by if anything was needed or if we had any questions. Definitely would recommend to others!

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

We were 5 adults and 4 children who had a very nice Easter in this cabin. The positives: +Very nice and new cabin. + Large panoramic windows with lovely views of the mountains. + Short distance from the road and Haukeli ski center + Good price Things to think about: * When the sun shines on the large panoramic windows, it quickly gets very hot in the living room. negative: - The cabin is newly built so the outdoor area is still characterized by having been a construction site especially since the snow had melted around the cabin.

Very cozy and well-functioning cabin with extremely good location for alpine slopes and cross-country skiing (200 meters). Øystein always responded quickly. I only have great recommendations.

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Very nice cabin—modern, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. Perfect location right by the slopes, making it ideal for skiing. Mr. Ulf is very kind, helpful, and communicates easily. We would love to travel here again 🙂

A beautiful apartment within walking distance very nice and short distance to the ski lifts and slopes! The apartment is equipped with all the essentials, whereby there is a lack of storage facilities in cabinets. But there are plenty of clothes hooks for that!! Communication with the host was quick and good! It was also great that we were allowed to put the car under the "carport". The apartment is unconditionally recommended!

Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

Super nice cabin, with great views. Nicely decorated and really cozy. Easy access to slopes. Quick response to inquiries. Great friendly hosts. We'd love to come again.

Also highly recommended in summer. The cottage is well equipped and very family-friendly.

Really nice cabin with plenty of space. Located well, but it's difficult to ski in/out (until the new area is established). Elekstricity is settled separately - we were only notified when we arrived. It should be in the description! Erika was easy to communicate with. Thank you very much for borrowing your lovely cabin.

Nice and beautifully decorated house and inside equipped with all comforts. Beautiful view and you can walk into nature by the stream. The immediate surroundings in the cabin area look (outside the snow period) a little less attractive, but you know that in advance. We chose the house and we had a great time!

There were 8 of us in the house and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The house is cozy and also very generous with several people. The communication with Marius was quick and easy.
