Summer, Visit York and surrounding areas in the sunshine. Enjoy luxury accommodation in a desirable location near York, Harrogate and Castle Howard. Our converted barn in landscaped gardens, has two double bedrooms, the main having cast iron free standing bath. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house being adjacent. We also have a 7kW EV charging point.

Fig Tree Cottage

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.

York Garden House

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

The Shepherds Cottage, Stillington, York

Nestled in the charming village of Stillington near York, this cosy cottage offers a peaceful countryside escape. Relax by the log-burning stove or stroll to one of two friendly local pubs serving delicious food. For nights in, enjoy a village takeaway. Surrounded by scenic walks and just 10 miles from York’s historic centre, it’s ideal for exploring. Helmsley’s lovely market town is close by too. Perfect for couples or small families—well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.

The Retreat

The Retreat is set in a rural location and has lots of original features with a modern feel. With ample off road parking and close to the Stillington-Easingwold road its the perfect base to come back to after a visit to the many local attractions. The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

Other cities and towns that are very close are Wetherby, Boroughbridge, Leeds and Ripon. The Annex is a detached, self contained, well-equipped studio flat, giving guests flexibility, freedom and privacy.
