At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

The historic baroque town of Fulda, as well as the Hessian Kegelspiel and the Hochrhön are worth exploring at 10-30 km.

The ground floor apartment is located in a quiet residential area in the Konrad-Zuse town of Hünfeld. It is located 500m to an outdoor swimming pool and 400m to the recreation park Haselsee. The city center of Hünfeld with its cafes, shops and restaurants can be reached by the Bürgerpark in about 15 minutes on foot. The nearby Rhön with its biosphere reserve as well as the ski and toboggan arena at the Wasserkuppe can be reached in about 35 minutes. Fulda can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
