Holiday rentals with a patio in Hunmanby

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

Poppy’s place is a great place to stay if visiting York. Hickory’s restaurant just 16 mins walk away and FootGolf over the road. Good use of space would highly recommend! If it’s forecast high 20’s low 30’s I would bring a fan with you as it gets very warm through the evening. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay in the future.

This is a really beautiful property! Although one has to deal with many steps, the beauty and peacefulness and quiet are really worth it. It is comfortable, well equipped, and quiet, with a really charming balcony to sit on – a lovely view of the Abbey. Very easy access to town, beaches, et cetera. The host was helpful, and answered our queries fully and promptly. We would certainly recommend it.

Catherine is the ideal relaxed host. (and a baking angel, thank you, Catherine!) The apartment was large, bigger than we expected, and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for our weeks stay, lovely peaceful surroundings, but easy drive to a great shopping centre with good park & ride into York, also 1 hour access to Whitby, Harrogate (Harlow Carr), Rievaulx and Fountains.

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Set just off the road to the north side and a short walk to the castle, is a lovely flat with everything you need for a vacation in Scarborough. It was comfortable and clean with amenities and essentials required for your stay. Clear instructions and a manual provided gave me a hassle free holiday. My son enjoyed using the small desk just at the side of the kitchen to practise his timetables. The bedroom is on the lower floor which meant it was quiet and without windows and light coming in I wasn't disturbed so enjoyed laying in to rest! A lovely flat with responsive hosts.

Had a great few days. Scarborough still has that strong heartbeat of a British coastal town and what Debbie has done with her townhouse is credit to the community. we hope to return again very soon.

The House was perfect for our stay very clean and great beds nice tidy enclosed garden which was great for our cockerpoo highly recommend

A beautiful , wonderfully decorated house just a 20 min walk to the centre of York . Spotlessly clean and tidy and hosts went to the effort of adding an “ anniversary banner and balloons “ for us which was a lovely touch ( as well as Prosecco and sweet treats ) Hosts were fantastic and very responsive to our messages , we had a fantastic stay . Lovely place to stay, the house is big and well decorated with a large living room with a wood-burning stove. The garden is nice and peaceful with a few friendly peacocks dropping in from time to time to say hello. The house is very well located and at the same time in a quiet environment. We received lots of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. I highly recommend it :)

Lovely collection of cottages, comfy and clean inside , exceptionally tidy grounds. Courtyard seating area was so pretty. Well equipped. Good parking. Great location for Bempton Cliffs & Bridlington .

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great base for walking and exploring the fabulous East Yorkshire coast. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and a genuine home from home. Would certainly stay again.

Great location for York city centre, took about 10-15 mins easy flat walk, lots of free on street parking so no car park to pay for, the accommodation was easy to check in and clean and tidy. Jonathan was a great host and kept us informed on what to do when checking in etc We only stayed a night but I would’ve happily stayed another night or two and the price was very reasonable all in all I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit this beautiful city.

Sule provided us with tonnes of information, with places to see and things to do. Check in was easy. The location is perfect and the walk along the river into town was wonderful. The flat was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. We'll definitely go back next year. 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

this flat was amazing for our short stay in Whitby. Val was a very great host, extremely helpful with her recommendations of what to do in the town. the place was very clean and we especially loved that we were able to use Netflix for a little movie night in! nothing to complain about.

Outstanding! For two travellers Eleanor's quiet haven in York is a gem. Location is ideal being easy walking to/from the hubbub of central York with an elegant setting in leafy quiet retreat after our busy days within the city walls. Furnished tastefully with a period feel, though modern in layout and fit out. Attention to detail with everything awaiting our stay was exceptional.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend The Loft. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has everything you need including tea and coffee. The bottle of fizz in the fridge was much appreciated! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink, relaxing with a beautiful view of the Minster. The location was perfect - very centrally located and just a short walk to the Minster. The parking space was a bit tight for a big car but manageable, and definitely good to have with parking being at a premium in York. The hosts were so helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely visit again!
