What a great space for a nice getaway! Can’t wait to visit when it’s warmer and beach weather!

Our stay was very comfortable-the cottage is spacious and has everything we needed-we did need to bring our own bedding and beach towels. Sarah was quick to respond to messages and even dropped something off for us. There are several beaches within close driving distance to choose from and although the closest is rocky (and we did not actually swim there) it was great for relaxing and watching the sunset. Would recommend this cottage for a cozy getaway!

Great location! Enjoyed morning walks to the beach with my dogs. Not far from Kincardine for a day trip either.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Cottage! Wayne was an attentive and friendly host and even dropped by with freshly picked Zuchini from his garden. The house is spacious and immaculately kept. The grounds are beautiful and far enough away from the road that you don't hear any traffic... or so the neighbours don't hear noisy kids lol. There is ample hot (HOT) water and a large bathtup. The porch is to die for (and has a place to hang wet items that is perfect after a day at the beach). If you are a nature lover, there are birds galore - bring your binocs!. The beach (which is a 5 minute walk with little ones - down a long driveway with a big hill) is quite sandy (not rocky) at this location. Wayne provides a wagon and there are chairs already waiting at the beach. Kincardine is only a 10 minute drive, which is great for dinner out, or that ingredient you forgot to pick up.
