Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hyco Lake

We've stayed at Kristen's home three times. It is a peaceful and lovely location, and the house is very clean and welcoming. We find Roxboro a fun little town, and it is close to Virginia. I highly recommend.

Very peaceful and family friendly home! It was super clean and the water area is beautiful. The host was so helpful especially with a book with address to different places to eat or go.

We use this for our pastors annual retreat and it provided plenty of room for them to gather and also spaces for them to find solitude when necessary and also provide a great community space outside which they really enjoyed

Kristen was super easy to work with, and the place was huge. We had 3 adults and were able to have privacy if we wanted or we could hangout together in the common areas.

This is a wonderful place to gather with family. Immaculate! We visited and ate most of our meals on the covered deck, where we enjoyed the view, the rain, and a beautiful double rainbow. The beds were very comfortable. AC worked really well. Water pressure was great! We had 6-8 fishermen/women who found the size of the dock a little confining, but they were happy with the bass and catfish they caught. We were extremely pleased to be able to use the pontoon boat. It, too, was immaculate. We enjoyed many of the water floats, paddleboards, and kayak. The only thing missing that would have been helpful -- Handrail leading to dock. We'd love to schedule again!

Patsy's Place was lovely! We were in town for a baseball tournament at UNCG, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy our downtime. After the first night, I messaged Tami and told her I felt I was sleeping on a cloud. Our beds were very comfortable, and Tami provided all of the comforts of home. Beautiful area, super clean, and just overall, a great experience!

Was by far the best stay we’ve had, The place was pristine and so beautiful. The feeling of peace and tranquility was overwhelming and the owner Bryan was fantastic, we had one request during our stay and he instantly responded and took care of us in less than 10 minutes! We couldn’t say enough about how great the property is! We had already decided to stay again after only one night into our stay …. Amazing, Peaceful, Relaxing, enjoyable!

Great space, great host. Convenient to all the amenities of the downtown area, close to other venues as well. Very nice neighborhood. Quiet. We had lots of room to relax as well as do our work from the wifi. 5 Stars--definitely will stay here again.

What a conveniently comfy place to stay in town. Literally steps away from a coffee shop/CuppaJoe, Italian restaurant/La Piazza, and a local Artisan Emporium filled with goodies handmade by local artists. I plan to stay here again! Mary Jo is an excellent communicator!

An amazing relaxing and secluded spot. Great if you like fishing they also have a dock to dock your boat. best of all was Mickey his wife and Miss Lily. Wonderful people and a wonderful environment that they have provided.

Everything was great! Roomy, clean with everything needed for a great stay. Would love to stay there again !

We were in town for a long weekend of wandering so this was home base for our stay. It had all the modern amenities and the charm of the early 1900s, including original hardwood floors and soaring ceilings. As the photos show, there's plenty of space to relax, both inside and out. Definitely a unique property. Our, who was very responsive before, during and after our stay, included small touches that make a visit just a little more convenient, especially if you arrive late like we did. Flexible bedside chargers, plenty of coffee pods for the next morning, and a few beverages in the fridge - not necessary, but much appreciated. A very enjoyable visit.

This was absolutely perfect! We were visiting my parents and this was super close to their house. They had everything you could possibly need, including ketchup in the fridge! It's better than any hotel you could possibly stay in. I have to say that the shower was the absolute best for water pressure and the shower head. I will gladly stay here anytime I visit Roxboro.

Danville is my hometown and I come back once a year to visit. This was my fourth time staying at Charles and Lynn‘s Airbnb and I have to that it really feels like home! Charles quickly responds to messages and always checks in to make sure everything is okay. The apartment is always pristine and everything you might need is st your fingertips. It’s also conveniently located to the downtown area and to the beautiful Riverwalk Trail. Most importantly, I feel safe with Charles and Lynn close by. I‘ll continue to stay there as long as it’s available!

We love staying at the Vantage Art Flats. We visit Danville often to see family, and we have stayed in this flat and others at the same location. It is always clean and welcoming. I really love the art theme and how each location showcases an artist. This particular room has large, beautiful windows, and feels open and inviting. We love how there are many great restaurants within walking distance of the location. We also visited the farmer's market that was just across the street. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

LOVED our time in Danville visiting our son who is at tech school there. Vantage flats was downtown and in a great location with a coffee shop and restaurant within walking distance. It was perfect for our stay.

This was the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever booked through Air BnB. My only regret is we were only in town for one night. The building is easy to find, rental unit was spotless and very well equipped. So much attention to detail! Ballad Brewing is next door and we enjoyed our evening there as well!

This space was so comfortable, spacious and modern. The art deco feel really stood out. Easy access and instructions. Comfy setting.

Amazing loft to stay in. Everything was so clean. I loved the decor. I had to work from the room one day the WIFI was fast and didn’t cut out on me. I will be staying again when we come back for Christmas.

Condo is just as described! Lots of places to eat and convenient coffee shop near by! Enjoyed my stay! 10/10
