This cottage is in the country! 2 lane curvy hilly roads. Mountain roads nearby. I can't do anything about the roads out here.

The home is brand new, artfully decorated and has 1 double bed, 1 bath, a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. The view is from 2000 ft elevation and looks into the valley and across to the mountain again. There is civil war history on the property. There is a 100 ft drop so guests are asked to sign a waiver.

5 Stars – A Peaceful, Charming Escape! We had such a wonderful 2 week stay at Rocky Acres! The property, with its incredible rock boulders, felt like a scene from a fairytale. We had a blast exploring and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The back porch was a perfect spot for meals, games, and puzzles. We loved watching the deer and wild turkeys pass by. The home was clean and cozy, and we especially enjoyed the view of the horses from the kitchen sink while doing dishes—such a beautiful, calming sight! The caretaker was friendly, and my daughter, who loves horses, had a great time chatting with her about the animals. Keep in mind that this is a working farm, so expect a bit of farm activity, which we enjoyed. The drive up was a bit adventurous, but that’s part of being on Lookout! Derek’s description was spot on and exceeded our expectations. The property was perfect and within our budget. He was quick to respond and ensured everything was just right.

Aften’s place was just what we needed for a night for our family of six and one puppy! The house was spacious and clean and the fenced in backyard was perfect. The only thing that we would have changed would be the noise level of the interstate and train tracks.

We just wanted a couple of days to disconnect and the house was perfect for that. The bed was so comfortable felt like sleeping on a cloud! The couch was also super comfortable. Took a min to find the house the GPS was telling us to turn before the actual entrance. Overall it was perfect!
