The first parts of the estate were built in 1824. The suite (approx. 70 square meters) with veranda (16 square meters) was added and expanded in 2007. The rooms are lovingly equipped and offer everything your heart desires: in winter cuddly hours in front of the fireplace, in summer relaxing evenings with a glass of wine on the porch. Atmospheric living in old village school in the Taunus

Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. The castle Hohenstein (over 800 years old, 150 m away) offers castle festivals for six weeks in the summer and is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 for. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the site of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. The Silver House is newly renovated in 2020 and lovingly furnished.
