We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

One of the most comfortable and well equipped accommodations I have ever stayed in. The house is a real home from home. Tricia really went the extra mile with welcome scones, tea and chocolate!!! All the little things like the fresh flowers in the house really made it feel so welcoming. An absolute gem.

This barn was amazing eveything you needed was supplied The garden was fully secure so my dogs loved it, Noel gave us some brilliant recommendations to eat out , local amenities , take aways The hosts were amazing , left us & the dogs lots off treats which we really enjoyed We will be back again next year Thank you again for making our holiday one to remember From Jemma, Clynt , Eric & Luna 🐾🐾

We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

Katie’s Airbnb was clean and comfortable. It was cosy and quiet and had all the amenities we needed for a 4 night stay. We were met on arrival, shown around and reassured to ask if we needed anything and then left to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for walking sections of the North Devon Coast Path. There was also a folder with lots of suggestions for walks, activities, pubs and restaurants. Plus overviews of the local towns and villages. All in all great value for money.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . We had a lovely stay at Fiona's place. The house is spacious and well equipped, especially if you have little ones. Also the location was great as you are able to walk into town. We also really enjoyed the BBQ and outside area. Would definitely stay again.

Just wow! I can honestly say this was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken! The home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. You can tell the owners really take pride in their property. The views were just stunning and you can see the sea and town from every single window. The pool was great for our large family too! It was so convenient to have a shower, toilet and changing area right inside as well. The kids (and adults) loved every second of it! Hayley made us feel right at home and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a beautiful private relaxing retreat. We would definitely return!

Really lovely stay. Alison was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely few days exploring the beautiful coastline.

A lovely flat, comfy beds and a very well stocked kitchen. Jackie's flat has a really nice patio area with full morning sun. It is close to Lidl, a 5-10 min walk to the beach path and a 15-20 min walk to the harbour. The 2nd bedroom is small and has no hanging space, but there is plenty in the main bedroom if you're happy to share. There is no parking on the premises despite this being in the property write up, but we were mostly able to park in the street close by. Slightly annoying was the sound of the tarpaulin on the scaffolding next door, billowing and banging in the wind. Hopefully the builders will hurry up and remove it. I would definitely stay again, thank you Jackie for the use of your lovely space.

Brilliant place to stay. Michelle was very welcoming and the apartment was fabulous. Great location and sea view very soothing. Would definitely stay there again and certainly highly recommend to others.

Beautfiul apartment in a lovely location. Perfect spot for a few days away with everything you could need within walking distance. Appledore is a lovely place and the apartment made the stay very enjoyable. Great host and very responsive. Will definitely be returning again!

Lovely apartment, very clean, fresh and modern! Central location near the beach and local Tesco's, very handy for your groceries etc. Next door to the Pig and Olive pizza takeaway/eat in, very convenient if you didn't want to go out. The apartment had everything you needed for a stay away, like home from home, would definitely visit again and Helen was the perfect host!!

Fantastic fully equipped, modern, spacious and comfortable flat only 2 mins walk from local high street and only 5 mins from the most beautiful scenic harbour. Alex was the perfect host; friendly, flexible and offered great recommendations for local amenities. Nothing seemed too much trouble even when we needed some help with the TV (it’s an age thing 🤣) Great value for money in every respect and would highly recommend. Oh and super nice touch to receive complimentary bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate biscuits. Thanks for a fabulous stay on what turned out to be the hottest 2 days of the year! 🙏

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rachel’s place! The home was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable – exactly as pictured, if not better. The location was perfect: quiet and safe and the surrounding were very peaceful. The alpacas which walk around the grounds were very fun to watch and we would feed them daily. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. Rachel was kind enough to provide milk, butter, eggs and homemade bread and flapjacks which was such a nice touch! We felt at home here and would 100% stay again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Great place to stay, 2nd time for us, great views and 5 mins walk to centre and beach, apartment is lovely, everything you need and very clean and comfortable, we have dogs so it’s great there is a porch to clean them off and also a bit of outside space for them in the morning, will definitely book here again.

What a fabulous place to stay, couldn’t have been more perfect! Beautiful setting ,so peaceful, immaculate interior but comfy too! Having two bathrooms was great felt very luxurious. Also a perfect length walk to the incredible Valley of The Rocks and Lynton with handy food shops. Will definitely recommend to others and will definitely be going back. Paul and Wendy were super friendly and had great suggestions for some lovely swim spots, we were 4 ladies on a wild swim weekend! Thank you Wendy and Paul Suzanne

Emily’s apartment is really comfy and more than covers all the bases. It was clean, light and well equipped. Emily sets you up with tea, milk etc. Easy parking and handy for the beaches and lovely walks. We slept well and found it an easy, attractive and generally great base for our stay. Communication with Emily was excellent. Thankyou.

Stayed for 4 night’s at Neal’s flat and we loved it. Very clean, beautifully styled and furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. Centrally located in town so no problems finding shops, pubs and eateries. The Spicy Mare takeaway just a few doors away is exceptional, but there are lots of other options available. Beautiful countryside very close by, lots of walks to choose from. Be prepared for hills ( although there is a funicular railway between Lynton and Lynmouth if you need to cheat!). We hope to stay again.

Another visit as so enjoyed previous. Easy access even on a bank holiday weekend to Combe Martin and Woolacombe accompanied by elderly relative. Thank you for another great stay!

Stunning character loft conversion which felt super spacious for just the two of us. Quiet location and easy flat walkable into town. Decent sized mugs too which is always my bug bear - so appreciated this. Super helpful host, thank you 🙏

We stayed for a weekend to do a bit of kayaking. David's place was lovely and clean, the beds super comfortable, and we really loved the local bay. communication was really easy and return of an item we left was really quick. great host.
