We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. In summer there are seating and sunbathing facilities in the garden. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is at your doorstep Private sauna for rent in summer with outdoor shower (including towels, bathrobe and infusion from 10 am - 6 pm) Feel free to rent bikes in summer by appointment. We are happy to provide sleds for children.

Our vacation home in the climatic health resort of Frauenwald on the crest of the Thuringian Forest not far from the Rennsteig at an altitude of approx. 800 meters above sea level offers you vacation fun in the magnificent Vessertal Biosphere Reserve. Take advantage of the beautiful surroundings for long hikes, bicycle rides, walks, snowshoe tours, skiing and much more. Apartment in the middle of the old town

My apartment of about 35 m² is in the middle of the old town on the first floor in a courtyard, so it is usually very quiet in the evening. Close to art and culture, restaurants and shopping. We are in the pedestrian zone, so there is no parking directly at the house, but the parking garage at Domplatz is only about 300 meters away on foot. Please understand that smoking is prohibited in the apartment. In the backyard there is a small garden where you can enjoy it in the fresh air.

Take a vacation with us in a quiet, forest location and enjoy Thuringian cuisine. Hiking trails start right in front of the apartment. Regional and national cycle paths are available for cyclists. For motorcyclists, tours through the Thuringian Forest are available.

The climatic health resort of Masserberg as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.

Our FICHTENHÄUSCHEN is located in the picturesque Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig, in the middle of the biosphere reserve Thuringian Forest. After only 1.5 km you are directly on the Rennsteig and can explore the hiking and skiing trails to your heart's content. Also on the ski slope, located right next to our apartment, you can easily spend time.

Our holiday home near Rennsteig is located in a valley with a stream. The wooden house with underfloor heating and fireplace has three separate rooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bedroom. It's beautiful in every season.
