Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Ironwood Township

We stayed at Jared & Sarah - Wolf Bay Lodge Cabin for a snowmobile trip. Hosts were easy to access through messenger and quick friendly responses. Cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of futons & comfortable couch's. We rode the trails to Land O'Lakes, Watersmeet & Marenisco. I highly recommend staying here. We are already trying to plan availability when to come back to Wolf Bay Lodge.

If you plan to ski at Snow River, you have to stay here. Even if it’s a little more room than you need for a smaller group, it’s worth the upgrade to have 5 bathrooms/pool table/own space. You can walk right up to the first lift from here. Bars are across the street. The place was clean. 10/10 experience with this rental property.

Nice quiet home to get away and big enough for the family, kitchen has EVERYTHING, fireplace and decor very cabin cozy, hot tub very clean

This was a great cabin fully loaded with things to do during our stay. The layout is fantastic for large families/couples. Everything was provided ahead of time so I didn’t need to communicate with the hosts. I appreciated this host for the very light and manageable check-out list. We weren’t scrambling to complete extra chores before check out.

Came to visit family and friends in Wakefield and couldn’t have picked a more convenient location to walk to everyone here. Close to the local restaurants and Sunday Lake. The air hockey table was an extreme fun bonus to our stay. The place was set up to feel very homey and it succeeded the expectations! Would love to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful place to stay.

Great way to spend time at Lake Superior. Fit our large family gathering well. The kitchens are small but the porch extends the gathering area for group meals. The furnishings are rustic but comfortable. The bathrooms on each floor made getting ready for the day and bed very comfortable for each family. The yard is great for kids to play around, the house was a great fit for our gathering. We love the UP!

We enjoyed the ski in ski out aspect of this home and the snow was perfect! The house was well kept and very cozy. The owner was kind and helpful when we got our vehicle stuck on a snow bank. Thank you for hosting us! We will be back again!

I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

This place is rustic and quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed the additional storage space to keep all of our ski gear organized. There is an additional sink in the one bedroom, which was handy. We didn’t use the fireplace or sauna, but cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to do so.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

We came to the Upper Peninsula for fall colors. The location (at the base of a ski hill) was right on the route for one of the best color drives in the area and close to the Copper Peak ski jump that offers rides to the top to see the surrounding countryside. The charging station for our Tesla was super close at the main lodge. Eric's place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked having the pinball machine for some extra fun.

Great place to stay. Close to snowmobile trails, restaurant, and bars. Rich is a pleasure to deal with and replies back quickly with any questions.

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Really wonderful place. So beautifully curated. Just fun, and welcoming. Eric was great at communicating everything. It worked perfectly for our trip through the UP, close to the beautiful Porcupine Mtns and all things Western U.P.

This will be our 3rd experience at the cabin. As always the cabin felt right at home. Very clean, clear instructions and a responsive host! Highly recommended for any event!

This cabin was GORGEOUS. My wife and I had an excellent few days, then got snowed in and Kevin helped us extend for a few more! If you are coming in the winter, expect more snow than is forecasted and 4WD/AWD will be very helpful. The restaurant down the hill is within walking distance, and was a great stop for us. We had a fantastic time!

We have stayed at several other Airbnbs and David's rental is by far the best. Beautiful setting!

Erin was very responsive and helpful when contacted with questions. Place was exactly what was listed. Very clean. They also had a binder on the table with lists of different things to do in the area. We had nothing planned for the whole stay so having this was very good.

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

For being in a resort the place felt very quiet and peaceful. If willing to go out and explore the surroundings it has plenty of beautiful scenery. And for sleeping 8 people this place was perfectly comfortable for all of us.

The gorgeous A Frame cabins were so perfect for our end of summer family trip! We rented out both homes (house 1 + 2), we were so glad that there are 2 full bathrooms in each house, comfortable beds and sofas, the kitchen is fully stocked and functional. Such clean and cute cabins, we especially loved the large patio and fire pit. We took a day trip to Bayfield and over to Big Bay State Park where my now Fiancé proposed. It was so beautiful being back at the cabin at night with the patio lights and gorgeous cabins, this will forever be a memorable trip and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We came here to get away and relax, and to ride the trails in our UTV. The cabin was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Erin thought of every little extra. She had sleep sound machines in both bedrooms. She had towels and extra water bowels for our dogs. She even had extra appliances in the kitchen like a crock pot(we didn’t use). Just a lot of extras! Erin thought of all the things😊 The Valhalla Pub N GRUB had excellent food and drinks- we ate there twice. It was a wonderful trip with a very thoughtful and excellent communicating host! Thanks Erin! We’ll be back for sure!
