Cabin holiday rentals in Ironwood Township

Adam was very friendly and helpful. He responded to my questions right away. The cabin is adorable and very clean. It looks just like advertised. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay while visiting the area to explore hiking trails and waterfalls. The campfire is stocked with wood and kindling and is private. The hot tub is a great way to wind down the day and look up at the stars. Despite the heat, the AC kept the cabin cool. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Birch Haven. It is a lovely home, well supplied, decorated and just perfect for our family vacation. We love to watch birds and we saw eagles, osprey and a lot of warblers that we don't often have the opportunity to see. The fireplace was perfect for cool evenings. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a wonderful time making our family dinners. This is a wonderful home and having it on Lake Superior made it a fabulous experience.

I thought it was a little expensive but the amenities were great and the cabins are right on the trail. It’s 8 min from town and there are three really great places to eat and hang out right next to the cabin. Place was new clean and easy to find. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to book a cabin in the area.

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Great place on the chain. 3 bedrooms and then a 4th bed in a loft area that is open to the living room below. 3 separate living room/sitting room areas. There was no guest manual with wifi passwords or basic house instructions that we could find but host was very quick with replying to messages. The house isn't directly on the lake, but it is a short walk away through very level grass. You can't see the dock from the house, but nice big dock for boats that is available. 2 wood burning fireplaces, but one was out of order (although I never saw the sign but one of our friends did earlier in our trip). Indoor hot tub in entry way room when you first walk into the house. Overall a very nice place right on the chain! A gem of a find for the Eagle River area.

Great visit and great home. Large bedroom was great for the kids. Rented a boat which was delivered during stay - was great to see the chain of lakes. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Beautiful views from the home. We enjoyed the hot tub and due to cold weather, the fireplace too. All around great visit that met our expectations.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Very relaxing secluded place that fit our needs for lodging and parking two trucks with boat trailers while in the area fishing a tournament.

This was a short trip for my wife and 6 y/o son to experience the Northwoods. They are hooked and cant wait to come back again. The accommodations were excellent. Only thing i would ask for would be satellite tv.. A plus in our book.. Tha k you for everything and for sharing your cabin..

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

We had the most amazing time! We will most definitely be back. I couldn’t believe everything that was included. It truly felt like it was our house because everything was just so welcoming!! Incredible location - we LOVED it!

This was a perfect location and setup for our family trip, adult kids and dogs, hiking in Ottawa National Forest and spending time fishing/kayaking on Deer Lake. Even a day trip in to Eagle River was quick and easy. We all had great time! Absolutely a 5 star option!

This trip was our second time staying at Blueberry Cottage - we love the cottage. It’s a great spot! We love the beach access in our backyard and the fully outfitted kitchen and grill. Lacey, the host, was super responsive to our texts. We took two hikes that were recommended in the host’s guidebook and they were both lovely - particularly recommend Frog Bay! Overall, I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Such a cute and cozy cabin! Everything was very clean and new, it looks just like the pictures. Lots of attention to detail and nothing was missed. The location is beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake. This was a perfect place for our family of four, our young kids loved it!

This is hands down a true hidden gem. Danny is clearly a very awesome dude who cares about his place and the people who come to visit! The price is great and the location is truly invaluable. I do not think I could put a price on his cabin! Thank you Danny, we will be back!

Cabin was great! Friendly and helpful neighbors and very peaceful neighborhood. The price was much better than other places we have stayed and the cabin was much nicer and cleaner. We will be coming back again!

We can’t say enough good things about our visit! We’ve stayed at many rental homes and this is one of the best, if not the best! Very comfortable and nicely appointed with everything you could need, super clean and organized (and I’m picky about clean), gorgeous location on our favorite chain of lakes, very helpful host and nice value for the rate. We hope to go back again next year! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!
