Monthly Rentals in Irstead

Thanks for having us. We had a lovely relaxing time. With such lovely weather it was great to be able to sit outside and we took our kayak out on the water, which was just at the end of the drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Thatch Cottage. An excellent base from which to explore the area. Liz proved a very attentive host and was concerned that our stay was the best we could have. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We appreciated the 'gift basket' - a nice touch that makes the visitor feel welcome. What was especially important for us was the 'dog safe' garden. Often host describe their rental as 'dog friendly' but they haven't provided a secure garden area. Liz made sure that her garden was well fenced off and we felt very happy that our dog was able to be free and safe. Thank you Liz.

Eilish's place was amazing! We stayed for couples of nights and we have everything we need and more. Eilish made us feel very welcoming. We will stay there again, 100% sure!

Really lovely cottage, well equipped and appointed. Excellent facilities inside, all top quality furnishings and fittings and kitchen utensils etc. Nothing more that you could wish for. Really good welcome pack, which was unexpected, with crisps, eggs, bread, jam and apple juice, plus butter in the fridge (well it was the hottest weekend of the year so far), plus tea, coffee etc. Parking right outside, although on a first come basis, but we managed to park here each night. We had a very busy weekend in the area, so only really got back to the cottage to sleep and have breakfast, so maybe we didn't make the best use of the place, but if you were on a more relaxed break than the cottage would be an ideal place to get some R&R. 100% recommended and Rachael was particularly helpful in her comms, all very well explained. Would be happy to stay here again if in the area.
