Guest house holiday rentals in Irvington

Thank you for a comfortable place in Harlem. From this location you could walk into Black culture and from. Few miles south you could be near Manhattan , upper east side. The location is convenient and the home was well managed and comfortable. The bed was comfortable , great side kitchen to warm up my food. A room with the window is sure to be great to the brown stones that line the road.

Yvette made sure to welcome us with open arms and was ready to help us with anything we needed. The place is 5 minutes from major subway lines and easy to travel to. There’s also target/Trader Joe’s 5 minutes away, along with other shops and restaurants too. Plenty to do in Harlem, but the location makes it easy to travel to Manhattan, Brooklyn, etc via subway.

I love staying in unique Airbnbs when I come to NYC for work and this was definitely a treat. It was very much out of a movie and times gone by and yet so reasonably priced, comfortable and easy to access. Walk or ride to Columbia easily. LOTS of walkable shops and restaurants and easy access to trains. Don’t stay if you’re not keen on sharing a bathroom (I didn’t mind and it was never a problem) but note there’s only one shower (the floor I stayed on had just a bathtub) but it’s easy to get to either bathroom if one is occupied. There is a smell in the air that is perhaps the age of the home showing itself but worth mentioning because it might be off putting if you are sensitive to fragrances or other odors but I want to stress that it was VERY clean and nothing I co couldn’t fix in my own room with essential oils. GREAT communication and flexibility on Rene’s part.

Odalis a été très gentille et conciliante avec nous lors de notre séjour. Elle nous a bien expliqué le fonctionnement des transports en commun ce qui nous a été très utile. Le logement en lui même était propre et bien entretenu, notamment la salle de bain, on voit qu'Odalis fait beaucoup d'efforts. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, je recommande !

The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a week stay. Host was very friendly and responsive. My wife and I just love the neighborhood.

Yvette was a great host She was communicative, welcoming and warm. I could not stay as originally planned but my son stayed & she was kind and understanding with this. He enjoyed the space finding it comfortable. We are originally from NYC & lived in Harlem so it is nice to be able to stay close to where we once lived and have access to family & friends. We highly recommend and would come here again.

This unit is private, light-filled, clean, and spacious. Geralde and Pierre were welcoming and proactive in making sure we were okay and that we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again should we need a rental in the area and highly recommend both the place and hosts.

This pool house is a nice space for a couple. The location 1.5 miles from downtown Denville, with a train stop one block away. Even though it is across the street from the rail line, it is relatively quiet at night. The house is as presented in the listing and is accessible via an exterior staircase adjacent to a designated parking space off a shared driveway. It is clean and tidy with a spacious, open living room/kitchenette/dining area. The 1.5 baths were small, but adequate. The basics we needed during our stay (coffee maker with coffee pods and tea, cookware, plates and glasses, utensils, clean towels and linens, soap, etc.) were included. The hosts were responsive and helpful with our requests during our stay. We look forward to returning.

The place was cute, cozy, and private. Good neighborhood. Familiar area for me. Easy access to grocery, shopping, dining eateries. Location was easy to find for local deliveries, ride shares, and visitors. I had everything I needed. It is in a basement guesthouse. It did get pretty cold at times. As other reviewers expressed. I did use the thermostat controls to warm it up and I also utilized the extra blanket in the closet and that helped. You can hear a lot of movement from upstairs at times. Mostly during the day like morning and afternoon. If you are outside during that time, then this shouldn’t be much of an issue. It was quiet at night. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay again.

Nice place, loved the privacy of a separate building. Good location near the beaches, lots of restaurants and fun things to do. Neighborhood is a little run down, but charming in its own right. Pay was extremely responsible, gave clear instructions, and was very accommodating. While the unit is very private, the bedrooms are not - one is open to the living room (above the glass doors) while the other is only separated from the kitchen by a flimsy sliding pocket door). Nice place to go to enjoy the Jersey Shore in the Seabright area!

Lissett’s place was a beautiful escape the city. The unit itself is pristine, spacious and wonderfully setup for a cozy stay with all the amenities you need. There is lots to do around, We had a wonderful night walking around the neighborhood and had a wonderful dinner at a Salvadorian restaurant. We regret we couldn’t stay for longer but we will definitely be back for a longer stay.

I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable place to stay. I spent a night here. It’s a great place to relax in. Great privacy, it doesn’t feel like other people are in the building. There are local stores nearby and you are also offered complimentary snacks and water.

We always stay at one of Carla and Jay’s places because we know how comfortable we will be. They make sure there is nothing you will need. Great stay always!

The apartment is beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable, exactly as it is in the photos. Was BIG for a NYC apartment. Was also perfectly clean inside. Access was simple, with clear instructions from the host. Thank you.

This recently renovated unit was exceptionally nice. Decorator touches, extremely clean. Drinks in the fridge, snacks, toiletries - basically any need met. Joanna was a great host, good communicator, friendly. The unit was spacious and highly functional. I would not hesitate to go back.

Absolutely wonderful apartment, ridiculously comfy bed, and super nice, always available hosts. The area is perfect, a five minute walk from the commercial street with plenty of good food.

It’s a shared place, so it may depend on who you share it with.. But the host is really nice. :)

We had a nice stay and the location was perfect for our event. Nice space with everything you could need. We had 4 adults and the space was sufficient other than some smaller beds. Would recommend!

Staying with Ania was great. It’s very peaceful and quiet in a very nice neighborhood. Ania was easy to communicate with and always answered very quickly.
