Holiday rentals with a patio in Isla Mujeres

We booked Mami’s condo for a June girls trip and it was perfect for us! We used Resort Pass to buy day passes to a few all inclusives in the area. Having a clean condo with a beautiful view, a gym, a rooftop bar/pool in a gated community was such a nice alternative to being stuck at a super busy all inclusive for a week. The condo was such a nice, quiet space to land after a busy day at the beach or sitting poolside at a resort. We checked out the cenotes, Secrets at Isla Muljeres (this is a must do,) got massages and facials at the Waldorf Astoria, did some shopping and had an awesome time exploring good restaurants. Our only gripe was the front gate insists you keep a wrist band on your wrist the entire week and would sass us when we just attached them to our wallets. I understand security is important but wearing a plastic wristband for a week that you cant remove felt unnecessary. No fault of Mami’s, she is a perfect host and very communicative/helpful/kind! Book it!

Gaby’s place was great. The amenities were outstanding, the staff was nice, and Gaby was extremely responsive to all my questions. The place is about a 5-7 minute walk from the private beach which is breathtaking. La Amada has its own reserved spot on the beach which is great for swimming and lounging. The rooftop pool was one of my favorite spots to sit and swim. I would definitely recommend Gaby’s place and stay here again!

The place was exactly like the photos. Accommodations were simple and all I really needed. I always felt very safe as a solo female traveller since there was a locked gate to get on to the premises. Comfy bed and air conditioner was especially appreciated and the location couldn’t be beat. What made this accommodation stand out was was the Airbnb host, Emily. She was very kind, warm and was always very helpful. She is exactly what you want in an Airbnb host. I cannot say enough good things about her. I would definitely stay here again :)

Could have done without having to wear wrist bands to get in and out of the building, otherwise we had a great stay

We enjoyed a very happy 6 nights in this apartment. It's well located, clean, private and very quiet. We were greeted warmly by Lucia and check-in/out couldn't have been easier. The huge terrace was a great spot to enjoy drinks and games. We appreciated the air conditioning, which kept us consistently cool overnight. We were in close proximity to everything in Centro, including the famous Playa Norte. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

we had a very nice stay! The apartment is just like the photos. Daniel is super friendly and attentive, and stands out as a host. I stayed with my partner and my 2 children. I recommend it!

This was by far the best Airbnb my family and I have stayed in! We enjoyed the beautiful views every morning on the balcony and every evening on the roof top! The location of this condo is perfect for walking to all popular attractions and restaurants within the Centro area and conveniently located next to a grocery store and laundromat which was a huge help! Luis and his team were amazing and made our stay even more enjoyable with their assistance from recommendations, reservations and to arranging a private chef which was a great experience! We cannot wait to return to one of our favorite islands and will most definitely stay at this condo again!

Couldn’t have asked for a better location for our first trip to Isla Mujeres! Beautiful beach views and close to shops & restaurants on both the north & south ends of the island! The house was clean & comfortable with plenty of room for our 2 families. Communication with the concierge prior to the trip was wonderful & they had golf carts rented & delivered right to the house for us! Someone met us at the house when we arrived & showed us around & gave us all the info we needed. The pool was cool & refreshing on the hot days & they provided plenty of beach towels to use. My only complaint was that the WiFi was spotty & didn’t work in one of the upstairs rooms. Not sure if the issue was the house specifically or just reception on the island in general. Either way we managed to have a great time without it! :)

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was really done to make us comfortable. Hendrick is really very friendly, very responsive and very efficient. He arranged transportation for our trips from our arrival at the airport to our departure (including trips between our different Airbnbs). At the location of the house, I think it's good to have a car or take taxis to visit.

Place was amazing! Enjoyed my stay. would totally recommend. stores, restaurants is close by.

Our stay was excellent. The place was impeccable, very comfortable and had everything you needed to enjoy. Since we arrived we felt at home, everything was perfect and you could see the care in every detail. We loved it and would definitely love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment/condo! It was spacious, very well decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. The air-conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal for us - right in the centre of the island, so it’s nice and quiet, but still within easy reach of the vibrant North Beach and the more laid-back South. There are plenty of great restaurants all over the island, so you’re really spoiled for choice. The on-site bar and restaurant were a great bonus as it was super convenient, especially for a relaxing drink after a day in the sun. Any noise from the bar ended by 10 pm, so it never disturbed us. We also loved having access to three different swimming pools, especially the rooftop , which was quiet with great views. Julie is a great host who was very welcoming and responsive to our needs, thanks Julie! We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to return.

Pros: - big beautiful authentic house with the terrace around - perfect location, parks and grocery stores are nearby - big comfortable beds - fully equipped kitchen with a good supply of drinking water - quite place with calm neighbors Cons: - hard to use the padlock on the front door - shower needs to be renovated (weak water pressure, old shower head, cheap curtain) - small uncomfortable toilet seats - microwave is old with limited options

Overall Sotavento #107 is a Very nice place to stay. We highly recommend staying there. The pool is nice and clean and right outside the sliding glass door of the suite is a definite plus. Rent a golf cart to get around the island if you want to explore. Watching the sunrise and sunset at Punta Sur is an experience for sure. Thank you Sharon & Cesar for an incredibly memorable stay.

A wonderful gem near Puerto Juarez! We stayed here for one night returning from Isla Mujeres and it was perfect. The hosts were so kind and met us to bring keys, give a tour, and make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was perfectly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and stocked with everything you could need. Bathroom was spotless and had basic amenities. I prefer a larger bed but it was ok for one night, and would be perfect for one person. Fantastic common areas! A beautiful large pool with a sitting area on the ground floor and a small pool on the roof were both fantastic. Very, very clean and well kept. Even a vending machine with snacks, beers, and drinks was available. Very thoughtful design and we enjoyed spending the next morning by the pool. It is a modest location with nearby local restaurants. We felt very safe and comfortable. Would return for another stay before/after visiting Isla Mujeres!

It was my first time to the Isla. The people are very friendly the food was great lots of home made bread at the restaurants. Marcella is great at communicating and Yesse the home care person was very sweet and helpful accept there wasn’t any drinking water Yesse had to go to the store and get it for us instead of them already having it in the kitchen. Other than that it was great. You have to have a golf cart for getting to North beach and to town , there’s two really good restaurants next to the apt and a beach across the street w snorkeling, chairs and umbrellas. You pay for chairs and umbrellas same like Hawaii. Aloha!

Awesome experience. Marco made sure my mom’s birthday vacation was special and even had a special birthday breakfast prepared in house for my mom, complete with cooking/cleaning and decorations.

My wife and I stayed at Erika's place for a week and liked it. It has a great view of the Caribbean ocean, a nice pool, a large flat screen TV, the air conditioning worked great, the king bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was modern with ample hot water. A couple of mornings we sat on the outdoor balcony, watched the sun rise over the ocean, sipped coffee and watched the frigate birds soar effortlessly above. Erika's place is just a few steps away from the Isla village retail area where there's a coffee shop, Aurora cafe (very good rice bowls), and an excellent spa - DZA-KAN-HA. I got the best 60 minute deep tissue massage I've had in years from Jayson. The Mango Cafe which serves an excellent breakfast is within walking distance. The condo sits along the island perimeter road. We heard some scooters and taxis occasionally but it never bothered us. The condo's mid-island location is convenient for trips to Playa Norte or Punta Sur. We recommend it.

The view is so beautiful it seems like a screen saver. I seriously did a double take each time I came in, because it doesn’t look real! Very solid, high quality condo and building well maintained, kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. The infinity pool is a delight, the bed is very comfortable. We were extremely happy with the rental, and would only suggest the WiFi and smart TV be upgraded. Unlike all our other somewhat luxury rentals in Mexico, here we couldn’t count on sitting back and watching TV at night. Roku wasn’t working as far as we could tell, and the 10 Mbps internet connection was not quite able to stream on my laptop. We’d definitely rent here again, and would simply download some movies ahead of time—but we’d also inquire about the WiFi. Also, as others have said, the purple couch, while quite good looking, isn’t great as far as feeling the springs. Not really a big issue, because the patio couch is comfortable.
