Toumas's apartment is GORGEOUS and just like the photos. The bustle of the street below was lovely but if I needed quiet all I had to do was shut the windows. The location in the Helsinki design district was brilliant and the local cafes and bars were equally great. As I had a long stay it was helpful having access to a washing machine. And thank you Toumas for the late checkout!

This is a very quiet apartment in a quiet and solid building. You don’t hear anyone above, below or beside, and because the windows open to courtyards, there’s zero street noise. (And you can get a nice breeze blowing through.) The apartment is not modern but I would say it gives a taste of how most locals live. Anything you might need for a few days’ stay is available, including laundry, equipped kitchen, pillows, linens, etc. Square footage is just fine for two people. A small grocery store called Alepa is right across the street. A slightly larger store is at the corner. Market square and Senate Square - the centre of Helsinki - are a 15-20 minute walk to the north. Heading south, a couple blocks walking takes you to the seaside promenade where you can stroll much farther or stop for an ice cream. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this Airbnb. It provided a great home base for our Helsinki visit. Thanks Mervi!

I'm going to repeat what many others have already said, because the positive reviews about this apartment are well deserved: Sini's place is just as beautiful as in the photos, quiet, well-equipped, close to everything, and the host is very responsive. In short, I wouldn't hesitate to come back! Some people mentioned minor issues with the key — I had no problems at all. Just wait for the green light on the smart key, and everything works perfectly. A note for coffee lovers: Cafetoria is well worth the 15–20 minute walk!

I loved staying at Sirpa's place. The apartment is beautiful and the neighborhood is perfect if you want a peaceful stay while in walkable/cyclable reach of many things to do. Sirpa went above and beyond with communication and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including some amazing local recommendations! Make sure you go to the Allas Sea Pool for a great ocean/sauna experience and Maukku for great food.

Fantastic location close to multiple restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and public transportation! We spent 5 days here and never felt uncomfortable. Communication was professional and quick, and check-in was easy despite some cell signal issues on my end. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
