The lovingly renovated house is "a bit like before" with a large kitchen-living room, sofa and three bedrooms. In the courtyard there is a seating area with a grill and parking spaces for bicycles. We use it as a passage to our apartment. It is 50 meters to the supermarket, 500 meters to the pedestrian zone, 1.4 km to the train station. Families are welcome with us. The house has baby gates on the stairs. Be careful, the stairs are steep. I speak English, a little French, and my husband a little Dutch

Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The vacation home is located in a small-scale quiet vacation park, this park is located on a large swimming lake with many hiking and biking routes. It is a quiet park, where people also come for their peace and not to party. The house has a large garden with complete privacy, with a fireplace and a pizza oven. In short, a perfect place to enjoy!

A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. The landscape invites you to beautiful hikes and cycling tours. If you want a little more action, e.g. for the little ones, you are very well taken care of in the nearby Kernwasserwunderland. The cities of Kleve and Emmerich with a very nice Rhine promenade are very easy to reach on foot in 1 hour or by bike in 0.5 hours.

Exactly across the Woold-Barlo border is the Grenspeddelaar. In front of a shop and gas station, which started it once. The gas station is now unmanned and the former shop has been converted into a charming and comfortable guesthouse. A detached stone cottage with a private garden and views of Achterhoek's scenic landscape. Because of the many windows, the living room is very bright and spacious. There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove on cold evenings and of course in the sauna. Our horses walk in the meadow in front of the garden, our chickens also run loose through the garden.
