Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. The house features a lovely garden, terrace, outdoor stove, BBQ and HOT TUB (no Jacuzzi) Downstairs, there is a wood stove, open kitchen, bedroom and spacious bathroom. The upper floor can be reached via the stairs from the living room, here there is a 2nd toilet and 2 bedrooms. The house is located near National Park de HogeVeluwe and Kroller Muller Museum.

Our vacation home is suitable for up to 4 adults, the bunk bed is only for children. Please do not book with more than 4 adults. The vacation home is located in a small-scale quiet vacation park, this park is located on a large swimming lake with many hiking and biking routes. It is a quiet park, where people also come for their peace and not to party. The house has a large garden with complete privacy, with a fireplace and a pizza oven. In short, a perfect place to enjoy!

The Leemgate is a cozy and attractive vacation home with beautiful views. The house (4500 sq. ft.) has its own entrance and therefore a lot of privacy. Bicycles can be placed and possibly charged in the lockable garden shed. The car can be parked next to the house. Outside, you can sit and enjoy the view of the meadow. The Pieterpad runs 500 m from the house. Vorden is a great place for cycling and hiking through the beautiful nature along culture and history.

The landscape invites you to beautiful hikes and cycling tours. If you want a little more action, e.g. for the little ones, you are very well taken care of in the nearby Kernwasserwunderland. The cities of Kleve and Emmerich with a very nice Rhine promenade are very easy to reach on foot in 1 hour or by bike in 0.5 hours.

A grill, sauna and a wood-burning bread oven are available to our guests on request.

The 4-person guesthouse with heated swimming pool is comfortably and luxuriously furnished and very quietly located in the yard of our old farmhouse (1890). It is directly adjacent to the beautiful wooded estate Verwolde. In the middle of the scenic landscape of the green Achterhoek, this is the perfect base for beautiful walking and cycling trips, a visit to the beautiful old Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen.
