The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

In your own little house (38m2), enjoy Finnish real-wood sauna. You can also listen music in sauna from your own phone via speakers. Relax at the terrace/garden. Enjoy jacuzzi for extra charge 60€ per day. Cook in kitchenette and wash laundry. 150m to buss stop directly to Helsinki city center 35-50min. depending on the traffic. To airport 10 km. Cottage is meant for 2 people (no parties, no extra guests). Day guests can be agreed separately for 25€/person. Our own house is in the same garden.

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

The House with a Spa

Paritalon toinen puolikas, isäntäväki asuu toisella puolella. Pari makuuhuonetta, isot oleskelutilat, keittiö ja saunaosasto. Käytössä myös terassi ja aidattu takapiha. Rauhallinen omakotitaloalue. Olemme järven lähellä, mutta rantaan ei ole pääsyä. Lähimmät uimarannat ovat Idänpään tai Matkolammin uimaranta, jotka molemmat sijaitsevat noin 1,5 km päässä. Hämeenlinnan keskusta on vain reilun kolmen kilometrin päässä, ja lähimmälle golfkentällekin on vain reilu kilometri.

Cottage has two spacious cabins, a well-equipped kitchen, and a good sauna. The charming swimming pond is just a few steps and stairs away from the cottage. There is good wifi, big sunny lawn and no neighbours in sight - so you can swim in your birthday suite if you want :) The nearest grocery store is 12 min ride away.

Welcome to a cozy terraced house duplex in the quiet Puistonmäki area. Enjoy the warmth of the sauna and the large glazed balcony. The apartment has a full kitchen and barbecue facilities. The air heat pump and underfloor heating bring comfort to hot and cold weather. Around the apartment, there are great opportunities for jogging with lake views. Aulanko is located on the other side of the lake, within walking distance. Parking space available free of charge.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
