Monthly Rentals in Jockey End

We loved our weekend in Jilly and David’s beautiful property. We couldn’t fault a single thing. The property is immaculate, very clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all amenities thought of. It was a welcoming home from home. We had two wonderful nights of peaceful sleep and woke to splendid views in the mornings. The property sits in the most gorgeous private gardens, with direct access onto an easy walking path through scenic meadows that lead straight to Ashridge House (it takes around 20 mins). We enjoyed meeting Jilly and David, who are the kindest hosts. We really enjoyed speaking with them about the local area and the work they had put into their lovely garden. They were very welcoming as soon as we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. They gave us lots of tips about places to eat and visit with our two children. Bonus points for meeting Alfie, their sweet, friendly, well behaved dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

This was a lovely cottage in a lovely village. Chloe was very helpful about how things work in the property and was quick to reply to any messages. Everything was clean and comfortable and just what we needed. Shop, pub and takeaways all within walking distance. I don’t usually sleep well when I’m not in my own bed but slept like a baby. Thank you, will book again if we are back next year

The Stables is a beautiful place to stay. It felt like a gorgeous retreat and get was only a short walk into the town centre where there is a massive choice of restaurants and bars The house is spotless and so well equipped, nothing was missing Sarah and Tim were very friendly and helpful I’m sure we’ll be back

Lovely accommodation for myself and my daughter - ideally located 5 minutes from the M1 so we could easily visit family and friends. Amanda was very approachable and friendly - highly recommend this Airbnb
