Take a break and relax in our small, quietly located bird's nest with separate entrance on the outskirts of Kalenborn (5 km to the fountain town of Gerolstein, 7 km to the crime town of Hillesheim). Almost 40 square meters offer a spacious, sun-drenched living/dining room with small kitchen, small bedroom (bed 140 x 200) and small bathroom (shower 80 x 80 x 180). Opt. starting point for hikes and sightseeing (landlord Heinz is happy to give tips). We both only speak German. No pets due to own dog.

Our beautiful apartment (70 square meters) is quietly and idyllically located near the forest. To enjoy the picturesque Volcanic Eifel, hiking on the Eifelsteig (stages 7-8), the Krimi hiking trail, the rock and Celtic path and in the Lampertstal. The bike path network is right next to our house. You can rent bikes from us for a small fee. An 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. For swimming, there are: Freilinger & Kronenburger See, Freibad Gerolstein or the Maare.

Our renovated apartment "Hekla" can accommodate 2-3 people. Apartment Hekla is part of the farm main house. The Heidberghof is located right on the edge of the forest. There is no transit traffic. In the farm live beside us, a Dutch family, also Icelandic horses, dogs, cats and chickens.
