Kumo Kofune

Unmachiya Goshonamin, located south of the Imperial Palace (Kyoto Goshō), was once the residence of the imperial court's craftsmen. Situated at the intersection of Funayamachi and Uoyamachi, it is named “Funaya” (Boat House) because of this, and many of its rooms are decorated with bamboo.The most distinctive feature is the unique Japanese design style, with quiet and peaceful corridors and a fresh and elegant courtyard. Guests can enjoy the view outside the window while sipping tea in the tea room.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
