Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Kamigyo Ward

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The apartment was impeccably clean and cozy, well stocked and we loved the amenities they provided. The hosts were also very clear in the directions and responsive, thank you!

We had a good stay. Mineral noise since it was in a residential area. Walkable to public transit and Nishiki Market. AC was very good. Washer and dryer worked well for small loads.

The place is in a lovely residential area where you really get to feel the vibe of the city. We arrived quite early just to drop off our baggage before heading out, and we happened to come in while two women were still cleaning. They were incredibly kind and made an effort to communicate with us, even though they didn’t speak English — we truly appreciated that. The instructions were very clear, everything we needed was provided, and the space itself was clean, peaceful, and cozy. We immediately felt at home. Thank you so much for letting us check in early! Bonus tip for future guests: there’s a LUUP bike station right outside the gate — a perfect cherry on top if you’re planning to explore the area by bike.

The property is situated near Ono Station, it is a little farther from the City Centre and yet very accessible. The 7-11 and Lawson stores are nearby 4 min walk. Overall anyone looking for a place not exactly in the city centre yet accessible, this is the place to go. As dar the apartment is concerned, it’s quite big, has sofa cum bed and tatami beds (sleeping in tatami beds is very relaxing) Taketo has a very in depth books and guides for local recommendations and recommendations throughout Kyoto. Overall will definitely come again to stay and will definitely recommend.

Our stay was fantastic! The apartment is in a great location — super convenient with lots of excellent restaurants and local spots just a short walk away. It had everything we could possibly need and made us feel right at home. The area is vibrant during the day and calm at night. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay here again!

The room is right next to the subway entrance, a very convenient location, there is a large supermarket opposite (this supermarket closes at 10 o'clock, there are usually discounted items from 5:30 in the afternoon) very convenient, if it is 1-2 people, this is a very good choice

This was the perfect place for our family to stay in Kyoto. Noriko and her son were incredibly gracious hosts. They made check-in and check-out really easy, and we had great communication before and after our stay. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location is ideal — in the middle of just about everything you want to do in Kyoto, and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. I think my favorite thing was the cypress ofuro (bathtub) with digital temperature control — pure bliss!

We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and comfortable home, which had everything we needed—whether we were relaxing inside or heading out to explore. After a week of travel, we especially appreciated having laundry facilities and helpful supplies on hand. The space felt roomy for the two of us, especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in Japan. May and Milan were very responsive, and the detailed instructions made it easy to use the Japanese appliances. The location was excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk to Nishiki Market, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. We’d love to return and would happily stay at May’s place again!

This is a great place and it's in a good central location in Kyoto. I loved that it was across from the Imaya Coffee shop - a great place to start the day a few steps away! Bedroom was very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Kyoto.

My family & I had a fabulous stay at your house. We liked how there was a traditional feel to the house. The foray-entry room was nice to have as we placed all of our suitcases there & used it as a changing room. Lots of little yummy bakeries including the one a couple houses down. A market with everything around the corner. And running around the Nijo-Ji Castle and surrounding areas was wonderful! Thank you again Maya!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay with an Amazing Host! We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb, made even more memorable by the incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, Ms. Judy Kim. She contacted us well in advance with clear check-in instructions and was flexible in accommodating our arrival time. She even met us in person to assist with parking and gave us a warm welcome with a house tour. We were touched by the little gestures—iced bottled water, delicious snacks, and her genuine conversation where she shared about herself and made us feel right at home. She even helped with our luggage and came to send us off when we checked out. It’s rare to meet such a hospitable and caring host. Highly recommended—we would love to stay again!

The place was beautiful with a traditional Japanese style, and the experience of sleeping on the futon was wonderful. The accommodation overlooks a small stream that separates it from the river by just a street, about 50 meters away. The surrounding area is lovely, with plenty of activities and good restaurants. I really enjoyed the stay, and the front desk lady was extremely kind and helpful. I wish I knew her name so I could mention it here. Thank you for this beautiful experience 🙏🏻

This accommodation was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The place is amazing, extremely clean, organized and with an absurd tranquility. The host was super kind and attentive. We love it and it will be our choice if we ever return to Japan!

We absolutely loved this house! It was a beautiful traditional Japanese home and felt so warm and cozy. It was a bit of a walk about 15 minutes, but it was a straight road to all the activities! Lots of delicious cafes and restaurants along the way! Very kind and responsive host. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in Kyoto.

I would highly recommend this listing. The accommodation was clean and really had everything we needed. It was perfect. Plus, it's spacious, which is pretty rare in Kyoto. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Public transport easily accessible on foot.

The Nozemi house was a really great experience! The hosts were very kind, easy going, and were responsive. The apartment itself was bigger than expected, and the walk to the JR line / Aeon Mall was shorter than expected (~12 minutes). The only recommendation would be to provide clear instructions for the washer / dryer use, and rice cooker use. Thank you!

Convenient location and within a 8 minute walk to Kyoto Station. Room appeared to have more space than the photos displayed but very comfortable for a family of 5. Check in/check out process was easy and as advised. If you’re looking for a place that is convenient, clean and budget friendly, then you’re in luck. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Kyoto!

I loved this place, located just a few stops north of Kyoto Station. It was perfect for the three of us and spotlessly clean. Our host kindly let us drop off our bags before check-in, which was very convenient. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to do some research before heading out. There's a small kitchen on the first floor, along with a cozy lobby and a washing machine. I highly recommend this place for families of three. I must say, it had the largest bathroom we encountered during our trip. To top it all off, the location is fantastic—right across from the Imperial Palace.

Hotel Kado was easy to find, convenient to the subway stn and Kyoto Stn, near Gosho (former Imperial Palace). The staff were helpful and kept our luggage prior to check in and a little after check out. The room was clean and our stay was very comfortable.

Comfortable stay, had all the accommodations we needed. Was spacious and the apartment was clean. The host was very responsive and friendly to our questions. The place is located walking distance away from the temple. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of things to do and minutes away from local bus stops. Being so close to major tourist sights made it easy to get up early in the morning and avoid the crowds.

The accommodation is somewhat quiet, by train (two train stations are in the vicinity) you can easily get everywhere. It is basically a hotel with appropriate charm. The staff is very nice and incredibly helpful and accommodating! We were also able to do our laundry there and use the dryer for 100 yen. In addition, you get a lot of towels and much more for your daily bed. Thanks for the great stay at your place!
