Holiday rentals with a patio in Kandersteg

Pictures don’t do it justice.. perfect little chalet and the use of sauna in the hotel was much appreciated for a rainy evening. Only thing was check-in instructions were a bit unclear (check in is inside the hotel) but we just went there and easily checked in and got the key from reception. Also they charged an energy tax of chf20 for one night which we found surprising since it wasn’t mentioned in the description and we’ve never seen that before. Otherwise amazing place and the views are incredible.

Everything was perfect specially the view it was beautiful

This may have been the coolest place I have ever stayed! You should absolutely book this place if you have the opportunity. The hot tub alone has a perfect view of Staubbachfall while you are in it, and a really cool light setup - the waterfall is also lit up at night! This place was truly magical! Inside was amazingly cozy, and had all you could need for a stay like this. The deck had a perfect view of the valley with an amazing place to wake up every morning and drink coffee. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! I ran into some issues with Airbnb (no fault of theirs) and they went out of their way to help us and solve the issue! Truly some of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced! Very responsive through messaging, and were wonderful showing us the place. I would definitely book here again and hope to.

This was an amazing stay! Not only does this place have an amazing view of Grindelwald but it is in a great spot near many places to eat and shop. Karin and Mike were extremely responsive and were happy to help with anything that I asked. Highly recommend!

We have done airbnbs around the world and this was by far the most beautiful location and one of our favorite homes to stay in. Well decorated, clean and cute historical charm. Nightly sits on the deck looking at the waterfall, cliffs and snow covered mountain was surreal.

Beatrice is a great host! She makes you feel right at home and welcomes you with a warmth that feels like family! Her home is beautiful and very well maintained! Great views & comfortable amenities. Not to forget, if you are a cat person - You get to meet Luna as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this lovely home!

Excellent location, had a great view of the mountains from the apartment. All the listed amenities were present, a WiFi connection would have made it even better. The whole apartment was clean and cozy, overall highly recommended.

Sara and Rob’s place is one the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve stayed in, tastefully decorated with love, with the most unbeatable view in the entire lauterbrunnen region- the magnificent snow capped mountain, the elegant church and the dramatic waterfall - all right in front of you from the living room, in the heart of the town but in a nice side street. Sara and Rob greeted us in person, gave us a nice welcome basket, and communicated promptly with us throughout our entire trip. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Weidehaus Geissmoos. The chalet offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and the sounds of cowbells and a nearby gushing stream created a truly authentic Swiss experience. It was the ideal hub to explore many of the sights such as Aare Gorge, Schilthorn and Interlaken by car. The owner, who visits daily to tend to their barn and highland cows onsite, was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Switzerland.

Very nice and clean place, with everything you need for a confortable stay in a wonderful location. Lovely views. Hosts are helpful and always ready to support. The access is steep and narrow, to be done on foot, though it is well described in the publication so you know about it before booking, no surprises. I defintetly recommend it and would love to go again soon.

Outdoor kitchen is amazing for people who love cooking.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

Special weekend with my parents in the most beautiful, spectacular setting, the chalet has everything you need and is easy to get to. There are larger towns close by and we were able to cook in the excellent, well equipped kitchen, or eat out locally. The view is unbelievable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wishing we could stay longer. Highly recommended.

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

It was a little expensive, but I think it's a good alternative due to the nature of the chalet, which requires a long stay. The Eiger North Wall seen from the kitchen was really cool, and it was really great to be close to Grindelwald Station and Coop. And it was useful because the washing machine was free (detergent needs to be brought separately)-!

Had a wonderful stay at Thierry’s place. They greeted us in person at check in and showed us around. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our toddler including crib, high chair. They even let us know in advance that we could check out a little later than 11 am which was highly appreciated especially with a toddler. They were wonderful and extremely thoughtful hosts. Would highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed this place.

Erna and Chris was great host . They greeted us personally on our arrival . They made us so comfortable and felt home . We only stayed for a day and was a rainy day . Otherwise we could have enjoyed siting their backyard and relaxed in their swing .

We had a few wonderful days at Alex and Carina's apartment. We lacked nothing in the apartment and it was exactly as described in the photos. It was very clean and the location is great for hiking or other activities. Alex and Carina are super warm hosts who gave us great tips for hiking. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved this charming house! Just an easy eight-minute walk to Täsch station, and the balcony view is stunning and so peaceful. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt!

We had a wonderful stay at Roger’s apartment! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The view was beautiful, and we loved the modern design of the apartment. The location was perfect for exploring the Lucerne area, and everything we needed was available. Roger was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!
