Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Karteros

We had a great stay at this apartment near Heraklion. It was very clean, quiet, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the intercity bus station for day trips to places like Malia, Hersonissos, Agios Nikolaos, Rethymno, and Chania. The local bus station is also nearby, with easy access to beaches and Knossos Palace. The owner was very welcoming and left us local raki and fresh fruit on arrival. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

The house was great , new furniture with nice style , the host was there for everything I needed !!!

Staying at Panagiotis and Marianne place, The Sunny Terrace House was wonderful ! They were absolutely amazing hosts - so kind and generous, they provided everything we needed for breakfast, water and even a special raki in the fridge ❤️ The house is better in reality than the photos. Big, high ceiling rooms, very clean and well arranged. The living room with the kitchen is very spacious. The terrace surrounding the house is also very generous and well shaded. The bathroom - very beautiful, clean and spacious. The location is perfect, quiet and near the beach, tavernas and bus station. We highly recommend this place!! For sure, we will return to stay here when visiting Crete again- we felt like home ❤️

The best, most luxe Airbnb experience! 🥹 From the epic views and immaculate landscaping (with butterflies everywhere!) to the private pool + tennis court to the incredible suite with comfortable bed, spacious / modern living + kitchen spaces and endless amenities. This place has it all and is in absolute paradise. We were at peace the whole time. We loved the outdoor shower, free laundry, local village bakeries / cafes & restaurants, total privacy, local provided olive oil (made by the host!), and friendly hosts. We loved the location that included easy access, a wonderful kitchen, dining living room and a fantastic terrace/balcony that provided comfortable seating to enjoy the view and activities on the walking street below. Xanthi's place had great charm and we loved her grandmother's paintings which provided a special character to her place. We would definitely stay at Xanthi's when we return to a suprizingly walkable and comfortable Heraklion!!

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. The villa is amazing, great views, very quiet (alongside a road but very little traffic) and the place was spotless. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. We were there for two weeks and linen/towels were changed mid holiday. Pool towels also provided. An amazing outdoor area, with table, well equipped outdoor kitchen, plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Quite honestly couldn't have asked for more. If we ever go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again ......... and a special thanks to Sophie who met us with the keys on arrival and was there on our departure.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Perfect location, pristine clean, and very well furnished. Responsive and friendly host too. If I visit Crete again, I'm going to try and stay here.

Fantastic, George and Fofi are exceptional, kind and hospitable!! I recommend eating at least once at their tavern, wonderful view, perfect pool and clean and comfortable apartments. As a traveler, I highly recommend it.❤️

A lovely stay in this gorgeous flat in the centre of Heraklion. Super close to everything in the City Centre, including the Archaeological Museum and the bus to Knossos Palace. The flat itself was charming and spotless, with a lovely little outdoor patio area. And the hosts were so helpful, really went above and beyond to help us out and make sure there were plenty of recommendations for our stay. If we come back to Heraklion, we'll definitely stay again. We enjoyed our stay very much. The reception was friendly. George spontaneously picked us up and went shopping with us. Since we had difficulties with the rental car, George helped us directly to find another cheap car rental and announced us directly there. He gave us useful tips for our excursions. He recommended a great restaurant and even announced our arrival there. He provided us with new towels, bed linen and washing powder directly on request. We even received a gift. The view from the balcony to the sea was great. Georges' garden was also very lovingly laid out, where we could sit. The beach was a 5-minute walk away and the most beautiful in the area with very clear water. We recommend the place 100 percent. If you book there, you should book a rental car, as the supermarket and restaurants are at least 2 km away. Thank you, Georg, for 10 beautiful vacation days. We will be happy to come back.

excellent address!! very well located if you have a car , only 10 minutes from the center of heraklion. We received all the instructions to arrive by email , it was simple efficient and quick. the apartment as well as the complex are very clean, well equipped and well maintained . We did not lack anything! pool and hot tub very nice! we had a great stay!

Great large apartment with separate kitchen and living room, stylishly decorated. The appartement is very close to the big parking in the harbour, so easy to find parking nearby. You’re close to the old court and some great restaurants. There’s a very large terrace.

The apartment is great. Greatly equipped and modernly furnished. The nearest bus stop is 1 minute away. The area is little touristy, but also not sooooo beautiful. The beach is only 5 minutes on foot. There are more locals than tourists, but it's not particularly nice and clean. All in all: the apartment is mega, even for the price! The surroundings are not that great, I was really on the road every day

Effective communication, functional accommodation, very clean and very convenient for its proximity to the airport (we stayed there for a short night for a checkout at 6am).

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

Christina’s studio is impeccable, walking distance from the city center. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Sofia and her dad Giorgos were great hosts, from meeting, explaining and taking the time to make great recommendations to checking in often, very much appreciated! We loved Iraklio (and Heraklion) and the flat had what the 4 of us needed to enjoy our stay. We spent our mornings and evenings on the decks and loved eating outside and drinking beverages. The recommendation for the Peskesi farm to table restaurant was spot on! The restaurant/cafes options in walking distance of the flat are plentiful and every place we tried was good. We walked everywhere, and took a city bus to the wonderful beach by the airport and the ferry excursion to Santorini one day. The archaeological museum is a stand out, and the history museum and Venetian Fortress were also great sites. Ended up skipping Knossos as the artifacts found were in the archaeological museum, so no opinion on that. We shall return to Crete some time and when staying in the area would gladly book with Sofia!

Great place and excellent location

Everything about our stay was perfect. Kostis was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was absolutely amazing and close to everything we wanted to see. The place itself was clean, comfortable and had the best view. I would definitely book it again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay

Susanna is a great host definitely recommend her. she has a spacious sunny clean place with a small backyard at a non touristic part of the island. always responsive and accommodative.
