The host was super friendly and polite. Provided in advance a ton of helpful information that was valuable for our trip. The area is a greay village close to the beach of Gerani , Episkopi and Georgioupoli and of course Rethymno, which is less than 10 mins by car. Its an ideal destination for a short or long relaxing trip. The room was super comfy, absolutely clean and modern. Host provided everything needed to make our stay easy. I recommend the place as a cosy, modern, one bedroom place.

Absolutely fantastic! The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The view is breathtaking, and the pool is absolutely amazing. The place is equipped with everything you need – nothing is missing. I especially want to highlight the host, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. Always available and committed to making our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Villa Balsam in Crete is an absolute dream. It is just as beautiful and large as described here on Airbnb. The owners of the house are super friendly and received us on arrival with delicious snacks and drinks. The pool is very nice, large and in great condition. In the house, everything you need on vacation is provided by the owners: towels, shampoo. Her skin cream, etc. During our stay, the house was completely cleaned once and the bed linen and towels were replaced. Furthermore, we were provided with 2 bicycles, a basketball hoop, card games and many other small things. The whole house has a well-functioning air conditioning system, so you can spend the night in the bedroom even at 35 degrees at night. As a farewell, we received some lovely gifts from the owners, such as soap, alcohol, tea and oil. We can only recommend the stay in Villa Balsam.
