Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

A quiet and well equipped apartment in a lovely location on the edge of the park- long grass, yellow iris flowers and nice views. The walk to the station was easy- allow around 20mins, then frequent trains to the centre. Petra was helpful and responsive- thank you

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

We had a nice stay, closer to Rotterdam, but still in nature with beautiful bike routes. We were warmly welcomed and everything was present in the cottage

Ideal accommodation to be close to Amsterdam and other Dutch cities to visit. We parked at a P+R to go to Amsterdam. Bikes available, pleasant hosts, beautiful environment.

I was really touched by the host's kindness. Thanks to the host who came out to greet me in person and warmly welcomed me when I checked in, the start of my trip was even more pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable, so I was able to sleep deeply, and the cleanliness of the entire accommodation was very clean and great. Above all, the village where the accommodation is located is so beautiful that I felt healed throughout my stay. The three of us stayed there for 4 nights and felt very comfortable. Communication with Jesse was fast, friendly and smooth. It is a bungalow at the back of the house with a small private terrace. The location is optimal if you want to explore the surrounding area. The beach is 5-10 minutes away by bike. Shopping is also nearby. Leiden is only a good 10+ km away, Amsterdam can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.

We had a wonderful stay at Aafje’s place! She was an amazing host—friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect: clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Everything was exactly as described, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future. Thank you, Aafje!

Where to start...first of all, the contact with Kristel and Frans was extremely easy and proactive. They gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is a cute little place for two people. Everything you need was there. We also spent a lot of time with Frans and had really great conversations. Kristel and Frans were very open and accommodating. We didn't lack for anything. They gave us tips on where we could eat well, what we could see and where we could fish well. We would particularly like to emphasize Frans sincerity and his positive and funny manner. Talking to him was never boring and always funny! Our highlight was on the last evening. Frans invited us to go fishing on the boat. We spent 3 hours on the water with Frans and had a really great time. We will be back and will bring a crate of beer next time. Thank you two, we won't forget you.

Enjoyed my week at the Bird house. Femke was very responsive. The house is in a great location. Easy walk to both the beach and city center. Parking is super convenient. I will definitely stay again.

The garden house is really nice! The environment around is peaceful and beautiful. The Jumbo is close that can be reached by walk. Very suitable for self-drive trip. Not far away from Armsterdam, Rotterdam and Hague. The host is nice and we felt welcomed.

Our stay was very nice, even as a family of four everyone had enough privacy and we enjoyed sitting on the small terrace. We really liked the possibility of renting bicycles, we rode them to the stand and into the city. We would come back anytime.

We were able to spend a week's vacation with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. There were even a lot of toys for our son. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help and advise (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly loving people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

House was clean and well cared for. Beautiful surroundings and the bikes were very convenient to get everywhere.

We highly recommend this AirBnB, it is one of the best that I have stayed in! The accommodation itself is beautiful, Mikiel built most of it himself and it is finished off to a very high standard. The decking area is just beautiful, perfect for having our morning croissants from the local Bakery and lovely to sit in the hot tub after a day exploring. The living area is spacious, the bed comfy and the shower worked perfectly. There were lots of little touches which were so thoughtful and my friend really appreciated the gift left for her for her 50th birthday, again our hosts went above and beyond. Our hosts were responsive to queries and flexible as we needed to checkin a bit later. The location was perfect to explore Amsterdam via train and we went to Zaanse Schans by bus which we caught at the top of the road. The houseboat is situated in a beautiful little town with good restaurants, the best recommended by our hosts. Don't hesitate to book this gorgeous AirBnB!

Really made up with this apartment. Brilliant communication. Very clean kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and having air conditioning was a bonus during this hot weather. Very impressed with the local area and how tranquil it is. 5 minute walk to the station and 20 minutes into Centraal.

Beautiful typical house, well located because it is close to the center of Laren. Very quiet place with a beautiful garden. Well-equipped rental. We had a great stay in this place.

Overall we really enjoyed our time in Daphne place. Everything was perfect starting from the checkin, place and location, quietness, easy access to public transportation, supermarkets is close by. What was challenging during our stay that may not be the case for others: Privacy: downstairs in the living area it difficult to stay freely without closing the curtain so day light is not coming inside. Even though no one is Inside Stairs: was ok but something to consider if you have big luggage. We preferred to keep it downstairs. Kitchen and particularly the sink: it was always a struggle to clean the dishes. The sink is too small water is spread around the sink, the water is going away opposite to the sink, that end seeing water on the floor.

An amazing find! Frans’ place is so unique and beautiful. The boat is a fun adventure and Frans did a great tutorial for me. They were both super flexible and accommodating, and their son too. The little cottage is gorgeous and perfect for what we needed. Got amazing sleep on the island so peaceful. Very easy parking setup too for my rental car. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
