South Kona Hale

TamaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What can I say? My family of four (3 adults one teen) absolutely loved it! Super comfortable and inviting. The lanai was peaceful with an amazing view. The bonus was Magnolia, the black lab, who was the sweetest and friendliest addition to our stay. We loved throwing her the ball from the lanai and she’d scurry back up to do it all over again. Such a fun way to end each day.

Hotel Pa 'amalu

GeriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kai’s place was a sanctuary for peace and relaxation. The lanai is so expansive and equipped with custom made screens which pull in a beautiful breeze and keep the mosquitoes out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is updated and the rain shower head is exactly what you need every morning and or night. I cannot say enough about the gorgeous birds that come daily for the birdbath. You will wake to the sounds of rolling water and songbirds at sunrise. Also there is a very entertaining hen that runs around the property and the geckos will keep you company as well. The mango orchard is expansive and beautiful. And the gas grill is great for a cookout. I would come back to visit Kai‘s place in a heartbeat. If you are seeking solitude, peace, and beautiful woodsy surroundings, this place is for you. Kai is such an excellent host, you’ll be glad you chose this gem of a cottage!

Look No Further Hale Nai'a Pink Cottage Kealakekua

HettyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
wonderful! Don't miss. Highlights: bed extremely comfortable, great hot water and shower pressure, washer/dryer; we cooked fresh fish every night (but could have eaten it raw): from Kona Seafood Market and Choice Mart. Don't miss the view, carrot cake, Ono fish sandwich and EVERYTHING at Coffee shack cafe. Loved the Kayak rental on the corner, we saw the dolphins at Captain Cook and snorkled at 2 step beach every day! We slept so well! Even through roosters and Coqui frog (everywhere on the island). Thank you Rusty for use of the snorkling equipment - including wetsuits and EVERYTHING!

Cozy jungle 2-bedroom cabin

EthanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Very unique experience. You are actually right in a jungle. With that you have some animals, insects, and noise. We had a small mishap with the ceiling when we first arrived but the hosts quickly took care of it and upgraded our rooms. The jungle rooms are a bit louder at night with the frogs and smaller compared to the other sites in the facility. Overall cool place and great hosts

Hale Koa Studio & 1 Bedroom Units!!

SofiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A great little place with an amazing porch view into the ocean. The place is right off the highway, super easy to find - and the host sends pictures to make sure you know exactly where to go. Ed and George were very friendly, responsive, and caring. They helped resolve problems right away and even brought us fresh avocados from the ranch! Bring off the highway made it great to go anywhere we wanted without adding time to the drive, but you don’t hear it from inside!

Hoku Hale on Wings of Aloha

CoreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jennifer and her husband were lovely hosts . Jennifer was very communicative and even let us amend the booking when we has accidentally booked the air bnb for the wrong night. The house was surrounded by beautiful greenery and bird chirp noises. Even better, the bed was very comfortable. Her husband even offered us a smoothie in the morning. We would highly recommend staying at the house in the clouds if staying in Captain Cook. 10/10

Kona Joe Coffee #1

KatieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Amazing place that is exactly as pictured! We arrived at night and it was a little hard to find. There aren’t lights around so be aware of that if you are arriving at night. Also, it’s on a slant and you can only enter from the back door so you walk over mud and grass to get to the door. It can be a bit tricky and messy. If you aren’t ok with a few bugs (you are surrounded by beautiful nature), this place might not be for you. The place was clean and the view to wake up to was absolutely gorgeous! So peaceful. A unique place to stay! Mahalo!

Io’s Nest- studio on a coffee farm with ocean view

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great little ‘treehouse’ experience. It rained both nights we were there, so our wet things (from snorkeling) never dried out. The unit had no glass windows (except for in the door), but pulling the curtains closed over the screens helped it stay warm. The fresh, farm-grown bananas were amazing. If you’re not comfortable driving on narrow, bumpy roads, plan on arriving before dark.
