Grouse Lake Campground is uniquely situated along Grouse Lake at the edge of Chugach National Forest. This is a WALK-IN, TENT-ONLY campground with parking at the entrance. Each site has a beautiful view of the lake to watch the wildlife such as the occasional ducks, beavers, and land otters. Chugach National Forest is aTemporate Rainforest. And, although we do have many sunny days, be prepared for rain. This is our largest campsight with room enough for three 5 person tents, or one larger tent.

Budget accommodations with a million dollar view. 12 x 12' canvas wall tent on a platform with traditional Alaskan wood fired sauna (steam bath) for bathing and out house near by. On the shore of the beautiful Lake Clark. Pickup and drop off at the airport included Queen bed Micro-wave Coffee maker Electric kettle Wood stove Potable water provided Grill with side burner We have bear spray to loan for your hikes We can light the Sauna or wood stove for you if needed. Cozy up in our backyard canvas tent for an urban camping experience 7 minutes from the airport! The tent has two twin memory foam mattresses, electricity, and a heater keeps it warm. Enjoy Kaladi's coffee, tea, and smore's. Relax in comfortable chairs overlooking our garden or gather around the fire pit. You’ll hear city sounds around you and floatplanes overhead. We’re directly beneath the world’s biggest float plane track, so planes taking off and landing are part of the experience!
