Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kihei

It was a great home. It was in a central location to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We loved to just walk around the area, great food, great shopping nearby!!

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

This house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with easy access to major destinations on the island. k Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom is clean. The retractable roof shade is really nice! The host is friendly and nice to communicate. Hope to be back sometime in the future. Thank you so much for the accomodation!

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

We were visiting Maui for my sister's wedding. My family and I stayed at Ally's place for a week and felt very comfortable and at home! This spot in Haiku is a cute, quiet neighborhood and it felt good to be away from the hustle and bustle. The best part was the outdoor shower and they sounds of all the crickets, lizards, and birds at night.

Our stay at Jacque’s place was perfect! The house was in a convenient location to all the things we were doing! Jacque was a great host and very accommodating for our arrival and departure times as well as responsive! The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed (:

Manolo is such a hospitable host and was a pleasure to meet upon our arrival. We loved his passion and care for his home and appreciated all the local restaurant recommendations. The home is beautiful itself with lush landscaping and I loved relaxing in the courtyard each afternoon. The walk into town is super easy and quick! You can also keep going and walk to the beach if you’d like, or all the beaches in the area are a very short drive and we found parking to be a breeze. Highly recommend staying here!

A++++++ owners, place was great for what we needed. Sleeps 2-3 comfy, might be able to squeeze in a 4th. Full mini kitchen, patio, pool/spa/BBQ’s, tennis courts. 1/4 mile walking distance to beach. Cute wildlife w/ birds & chicken all over property. Everyone was friendly. 5-10min from downtown Kihei shopping & grocery stores.

The place was just as described. It was within walking distance to a really nice beach. The chairs/umbrella for the beach were great and we used them extensively. We really liked that the washer and dryer were in the unit so we had fresh towels when needed. Would definitely come back

We came here for our 20th anniversary. The views and beach are unparalleled. It is a more private setting and not walkable to downtown Kihei. This was perfect for us because we just wanted a chill place to be. It is still very accessible to the entire island and Kihei is really easy to get to. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

Perfect place to enjoy Maui with beach view from balcony. The beds were comfy and the apartment was super well equipped! We had a toddler and there was a pack n play, dining chair booster, a few toys, and baby utensils! Megan was super responsive and helpful. Could not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend the walk down the beach to the sugar beach bakery.

We loved our stay in this condo and Melissa was a wonderful host! She was kind, responsive, and helped us with all of the questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

Both beds were extremely comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect just steps away from Kam II beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Everything was perfect for our short 2 night stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Aloha, If you are in doubt Just Book it Now! So glad for the opportunity staying at Aaron’s condo. Beautiful unblocked views of the ocean/sunsets. The apt is luxurious and big. Had everything we needed and more. My wife and I had a blast enjoying it in Maui. The location is great, quiet, private, secure and close to everything. Super close to Big Beach which we liked a lot. Also recommend doing the Hoapili Trail in the lava fields, just down the road there. Aaron was very attentive and fast to respond to any questions we had. Definitely want to come back here. We loved this place! We walked to the nearby beaches and restaurants and loved our morning coffee on the lanai. The view is so worth it. It was very clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrella) that was provided. We cooked breakfast most mornings and found the kitchen to be well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. However, you’ll need to bring your own oils, seasonings, etc. We did have a few issues out of Craig’s control, and he was helpful in finding solutions. I did panic when we had landed on Maui and I hadn't received the condo code yet. I reached out and he replied within about an hour. I later saw that he sometimes doesn't give out that info until the day of check in, so don't be alarmed. Overall, we loved our stay and can't wait to visit Maui again. Even with a few hiccups, this place was amazing and great to come back to after a day of adventuring.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The condo was spacious enough for our family of four and we loved the decorations (especially the wallpaper and the tiles). Everything was well equipped and it was so helpful we could use the washing machine as well. The location in Kihei is good, there are cafes and restaurants and a general store within walking distance or short driving distance. The area of the condo is beautifully lush green and the pool is just next door! The kids really enjoyed it. We also walked to Kihei Boat Landing and Kamaole III Beach. William proactively shared some information about Maui sights and restaurants and he always replied to our questions in a timely manner. He really takes care of this place and puts a lot of love into details of his home. We didn’t want to leave and can recommend his place without any doubts. Thanks for making our vacation in Maui so wonderful!

We cannot say enough good things about staying here. We have been to Maui many times over the years, and this was by far the best condo we have stayed in. First off, the view was amazing. Every morning we would drink our coffee on the lanai and watch the outrigger canoes practicing. Evenings we would take long walks on the beach right from our condo. Location is centrally located to everything. Walk down the beach a little ways and you would find an ABC store, produce stand, bakery and shaved ice. There is also a deli downstairs. The condo was very clean and stocked with absolutely everything you would ever need, including laundry detergent, shampoo, phone chargers, etc. Anything you forgot to pack, they had. We will definitely be renting this condo again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect for Exploring Maui! This was our first trip to Maui, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The location was central to everything, making it so easy to get to all our planned activities and food spots. Whether heading to the Road to Hana, hanging at the beaches or having dinner, this Airbnb made it all convenient. The space itself was well-equipped, just the right size for two. While it may not be ideal for a group of 3, it had everything we needed, plus an unbeatable ocean view that made every morning feel magical. On top of all that, the host Sarah and Joe were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. 10 stars if we could give them! We absolutely loved our week here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Maui. Mahalo!!

This unit was in a great location for us while visiting friends in Kihei. Centrally located between Kahului, Lahaina, and Wailea. It was spacious, had a nice balcony with a view of the beach, and air conditioned.

Connie’s place was amazing. The condo is located in a convenient area close to the beach and local shops. The unit was equipped with all the beach gear you need so you don’t have to worry about renting on the island. The space was very cozy and we felt at home. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We loved the lanai and enjoyed relaxing there and taking in the lush gardens. The pools in the complex were perfect as well. We will be staying again. 🩷
