*PURE NATURE* Forest cottage at the farmhouse in the countryside

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

Relax and enjoy everything the Moselle has to offer while staying in a unique, tranquil accommodation. An authentic apartment with original beam construction has been created in an old winery. Enjoy a delicious drink on the terrace with a beautiful view over the Moselle Valley. There are numerous beautiful hiking and biking routes, and the Erdener Treppchen is highly recommended for experienced hikers. Also, visit the many wineries and taste the local cuisine.

Grandmas Hilde house high above the mosel

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. *Our apartment is on the first floor of a former farm in the tranquil Eifeldorf view near Monreal. The location on the outskirts offers peace and fantastic views. It is ideal for families or hikers. A beautiful beech forest starts 100 m away. Many beautiful hiking trails and the Elztal bike path are also within easy reach: e.g. the Monrealer Ritterschlag or the Hochbermeler... Mayen, the Nürburgring, the Moselle, the Maare can be reached quickly.

The cozy holiday apartment in the old Hunsrück farmhouse is a good starting point for hiking on the most beautiful paths in Rhineland-Palatinate typical natural landscapes: walk on enchanted paths in the "Hahnenbachtal" to the mighty "Schmidtburg" and restored Celtic settlement "Altburg" or on the "Soonwald-Steig" . Small two-storey cottage. On the ground floor storage facilities for bicycles. The apartment on the first floor can be reached via an external staircase. It is divided into a living/dining area with small kitchenette and a bathroom with spacious shower. To sleep, head down the inner stairs to an open gallery, where a 1.60 m wide bed awaits you. If you come with four people, the couch can be folded into a full double bed.

The apartment with 1 bedroom for up to 2 people (double bed) is located on the 2nd floor in a former winery. It is spacious, bright and fully furnished. Price : 50,- € for 2 people incl. Linens and towels. Each additional person €20.00. For larger groups, the studio can be booked via a staircase in the apartment with up to 4 more sleeping places (1 bed 140x200, 1 single bed, 1 sofa bed (per person €20 extra charge).
