The cottage sits on the property of the historic Coor-Cook residence (c. 1790), known as the "Stanley Hospital, Officer's Ward" during the Union Army occupation of New Bern. The cottage originally served as the law office of Mr. Geoffrey Stevens, a prior resident of the Coor-Cook house.

We invite guests to slow down and relax on the porch or use the fully equipped backyard grill for a BBQ.
