Charming apartment at the entrance of the Emmental

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

We rent our very small studio (13 sqm) with private entrance for one or two people. WE DO NOT OFFER BREAKFAST. The bed (140 x 200 cm) can be transformed into a sofa in no time with a handle. Wi-Fi, a writing desk, a TV and a terrace seat are available. A private shower/toilet, bed linen with terry towels, hair dryer and hair shampoo are provided. There is a simple and well-equipped kitchen with fridge, kettle and coffee machine.

The flower garden is publicly accessible, so it may well be that you also meet other connoisseurs in the garden.

The beautiful Bernese old town can be reached by train in 15 minutes. (Kehrsatz local train station to the property 10-12 minutes on foot). This spacious apartment is located in the cozy attic of a typical Emmental farmhouse named Bühlmenschwand. In addition to the hosts, friendly dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and chickens live on the Bühlmenschwand farm. From here you can enjoy beautiful walks through the adjacent woods and meadows, or further discover the Emmental by car or bike.
