"Living in the Bauwagen" Our lovingly converted construction car is ready for you if you love nature and are looking for distance from everyday life. The site trailer is quietly and idyllically nestled between an apple and a plum tree in the garden of our house. It has been converted and expanded architecturally and is a successful mix of old, preserved and modern elements. You have a great unobstructed view over meadows and fields, to Amöneburg, 10 km away. The site trailer is comfortably furnished for 1-2 people and you can even heat with a wood stove on cool days. In addition, the site trailer has a cooking facility, a coffee maker and a cooler, so you can take good care of yourself. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible 20 m away. In an appealing washhouse you can take showers, wash and walk to the toilet. Our bicycles are available for you to explore in the immediate vicinity, for example, the Rauischholzhausen Castle (7 km), the Wässberger Warte (3 km) and the university city of Marburg an der Lahn (8 km), which are to be mentioned with the Marburg Castle and its exceptional half-timbered old town. The 37 m² one-room apartment is located on the first floor of a farmhouse in the village center of Marburg-Hermershausen and is accessible through the shared staircase. Real wood parquet, tiled floor as well as a solid wood kitchen, solid wood furniture and natural textiles invite you to feel good. The spacious bathroom has a floor-level shower, the kitchen offers a double-burner ceramic hob, microwave and exhaust hood. Wi-Fi is available. If necessary, a washing machine can also be used.

The ladder to the loft bed cannot be removed or locked. You should consider this if you want to travel with children.

Nearby are the Schlosspark Rauischholzhausen and the historic university town of Marburg (12 km). For maximum flexibility, a car is recommended. A charging station for electric cars (11 kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The overnight price is including final cleaning.

As a former leather goods shop of our ancestors - the tanning family Weintraut - we now welcome you to the freshly furnished ground floor apartment of this historic house from 1530. The poet Dietrich Weintraut, known beyond the city limits, lived here in the 19th century.
